What to people think of Guys with this in? Do they look anygood or just plain stupid.
Thought it would be a good idea as due to things like work not everyone and now inlcuding me have their hair dyed outragous colours or have opulant hairstyles like Deathrock Mohawks.

I'm sure my friend Kit will chip in in this thread eventually, but he wears a type of foam falls. In fact, he makes them, and has been an innovator in that particular field.
You can see a picture of him wearing them on the main page of his site:

I certainly think that it depends on the type of hair falls that are worn... the dread falls and the steampunk/cyber falls that Kit makes are things that I think guys would look good in. I'm not too sure about the regular hair falls, at least not as anything other than maybe accent pieces.

I think you'll look just fine. Around my neigborhood, there be guys walking around with fake weave braids in there hair...Looks ok.. But you should try to wear colored braids (french braids) it you can. I do all the time. *)

Guys with fake hair- nothing wrong with it. All I would say is that with dread falls and such, wearing them at the top of your head does look very girly to be honest... still, I'm sure a lot of gothic men can get away with looking feminine
As always though, it depends on the person. Some people can pull off fake hair, some probably look better without it. I don't think gender should really come into it.

Well he looks rather nice in them doesn't he?! *grin*
I think falls like that, in a ponytail like Kit wears them, look great - I don't think brighter colours (purple for example) would suit men as much as they do women (although it depends on the wearer), but I think the black and grey colours would look brilliant, but like VampLauren said, some men might not suit it falls.
I was just looking through the photo gallery on Kit's LJ page, and I think the female models look great in them as well. Kit does very nice work!

I think it all deoends on your style (same with women). If you dress quite normally and then have wild hair it can look odd. However, if you have quite a CyberGoth style it can look awesome. I love going into Cyberdog (cyber store in Camden in London) and seeing all the hair they have in there. There's one girl who works there who has blue and metallic green wool and all kinds of stuff attached into her hair and it looks gorgeous. I think guys can look good with it as well, like Lillith's mate Kit, but if they are very masculine looking it doesn't work so well. Just my humble opinion though.

I think that they would work on some guys, and would'nt work on others. It all depends on what you're wearing

I agree that it works best on people with a cyber goth look (not to say it can't work on others at all, just that it goes really well with cyber), but I do think facial structure should come in to it as well. I don't think gender matters on this one - either can look great in them. In my eyes it's definatly an individual thing and what look the person is going for as well.

I have a question about Kit's hair falls, and all Cybergoth hairfalls in general. Is it okay for Goths who aren't Cybergoth to wear them? Because I noticed that in Kit's picture he is wearing what seems to be corporate-influenced Romantigoth attire, or perhaps something similar to Brian Viglione(of the Dresden Dolls)'s less androgynous costumes. I'm not Cybergoth, but I am fascinated with his creations. Should it be okay for us more-traditional goths to wear them?

I think they would look good still on people with blonde hair. My hair is sorta blondish-brown and it's not deterring me from getting them...as soon as I'm free of my parents and school, that is...*sigh*

Sure it should be -- don't go letting other people tell you what to wear. If you like it, don it.
On the broader fake hair note, I have been known to puzzle store clerks by asking if I can have the color sample locks when they're done. So far, no luck.

Well yes I will but later, when I won't be risking being disowned by my parents. *sigh* 18 seems so far away...
