I've just noticed, when using the search function, the only topics that display are those since the forum was upgraded. Is this going to be changed soon, so we can search older topics too, or is this it?

This was my mistake, corrected now.

Umm...n00b question here, what exactly does the 'ignore' feature do?

It sets up a relationship such that when you are logged in, you can ignore all posts made by a certain user. Like, if you click ignore on a post I made, going forward, you wouldn't see posts made by me.

Well, you can see the posts made by the ignored user, just no content. So you're aware that there is something being ignored, you're just blissfully free of the content of that person's post.

Ah, okay. Works differently than bbBoard software then.

Greetings All,
The board re-vamp is looking good. I've noticed a problem though. My sib went to register finally and he can't. Is registration on hold till everything's running smooth or is this just more random wierdness?

Define "can't"?

The registrations are turned on, so that's not it. Unless he's trying to use the same email address as you, that would be one thing that would throw a wrench into the works.

Greetings Lilith,
Sorry I wasn't more specific in the previous post, it was a bit late. He is not using my addy, is on a seperate ISP and I've made sure the browser is cleared. This message keeps poping up:
http://www.goth.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi?act=Reg;CODE=00

Another aesthetical note - when opening one of the sections, the backgroud of normal topics are in a bright red which makes it very hard for me to see at least the descriptions of the topics. Is this intented?

Conservative as I am I have to say I liked the old style of iconboard better, this one seems so .. squeaky to me.

However, your work is good as always, Admins!! [insert kitschy emoticon] :D

I can't see a message just a registration form and a message at the top that tells you that when you receive an e-mail to click on the link to validate your account.

The background is black for me. The only bright red I've come across anywhere on the whole site is the colour of the text. Maybe it's your browser.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any message either, just the registration form.

Dirgesinger, can you paraphrase what the message says? Or take a screenshot of it?

The message has actually changed now. The first problem was fixed, and we can get the registration form, but then after it's completed there is another error.

Ikonboard CGI Error Ikonboard has exited with the following error:

Quantifier follows nothing in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/* <-- HERE @digitalend.com/

This error was reported at: Sources/Register.pm line 203.

Please note that your 'real' paths have been removed to protect your information.

Aside from whatever PreZ fixed, if your sibling is using a Digitalend.com email address, then that's the problem.

We had loads of trolls from that forum/site, so I ended up having to blacklist email registrations from the entire domain.
