Even if I had the cash, I'd stay away from Vegas, too much trouble there lately concerning my fellow biker brethren. I have no wish to be shot at because of my jacket

I think something of that nature would be a great idea. Especially if it was held somewhere like, say, New Zealand. That way I might stand a chance of being able to attend

New Zealand? What's there except for sheep?

um, sheepfuckers?
I think that every English speaking country has it's sheep fuckers. For the Brits it's the Welsh, for the Aussies it's the New Zealanders, for the New Zealanders it's the Aussies, for the Americans it's the West Virginians.
~blood rose~....maybe having a bunch of caffenine before bed is a not so good idea.

I think Idea is just swell! That's exactly what I'd be doing if I was going to Vegas for this. I sincerely hope I'm going to Vegas, but I won't make any promises. If I do go to Vegas, I'll look forward to meeting others there in this manner.

If you mean the Vegas thing, there's no way you could go as a 13 y/o. Convergence is more than likely going to be an 18+ event and with all the gambling and booze everywhere, you're not gonna have a chance at that age
Also, C9: Las Vegas is in April next year.

I arranged a regional goth.net get together last saturday for Ireland, but seeing as Im the only one from there I invited my friends to come out too, we went to the place we normally go to, and did the things we normally do, it was pretty much a normal night out, but I knew it was the Irish Goth.net convention!

Well, I would have the funds to attend, if my place of employment hadn't gotten knocked down for a corporate takeover. Currently the skeleton of a Safeway is in it's former location, and it doesn't look it's going to be finished anytime soon...

I'm in the same boat. Next year I'll have a car, and a job if I want to keep that car.

You won't find snow in Vegas, old man, but for a nominal fee, you can pay one of the many Vegas prostitutes to dress up as a french maid and serve you grapes. You'll have to provide the costume of course.
I'll be in Miami by next spring, so hopefully I'll be able to attend. I'll be partying like Big Baby Jesus!
