"All Things Grow" and "Hard Times Are Comin'" from "Robin Hood: Spirit of the Greene"

Oh wait... you didn't really mean "what songs I can't get out of my head from so many rehearsals"...

Fine. "Ethernaut" from The Cruxshadows (the entire album) is on heavy rotation right now, and the Little Lords and Ladies from the show love it.

Current audio obsessions, eh? For me, they include:

Snake Corps - Strangers
The Chameleons - Second Skin
Comsat Angels - Dark Parade
Comsat Angels - Field of Tall Flowers
Comsat Angels - Shiva Descending
II Invasion - Graue Katzen
II Invasion - Bleib Hier
Corpus Delicti - Saraband
Devics - Siren Song
Subterfuge - Darkland Awakening
Benediction - Crowded Room (I think that's the song? I can't find out jack about the band)

Perhaps I should just make a short playlist and put these songs on repeat.

Immortal Technique--Dance with the Devil

This is a rap song, but if none of you have heard it, it is VERY suggested. I know, I know, it's rap... but... look, just listen to it, 'kay? Don't worry about downloading, half of Immortal Technique's songs are about how you should just download them.

Chris Isaaks--Wicked Game

This must be one of the best songs ever. It also introduced me to the horror that was HIM. HIM's cover of it? Atrocious.

The Rolling Stones--Paint it Black

This song is just so wonderful. Whenever I listen to it I think about the fact that a band doesn't have to be gothic to have a very gothic song, but the point that this is a gothic song may be contended here, I don't know. I really don't care, it's a good song either way. Avoid the goth cover of it featured on one of those Goth Club Classics, it's the worst sort of drivel you've ever heard recorded.

Ribbons--Sisters of Mercy

Heh, funny that I only now get to an actual goth song sung by a gothic band on a gothic forum. But anyways, it's a damned good song, and every girl I've ever felt romantic about is featured in it.

The Godfather--Fantomas

I have no idea how the people of this forum would take Fantomas. Just take my word for it when I say they're brilliant; this song, amazing.

Her Ghost in the Fog--Cradle of Filth

Yes yes I know, you all hate Cradle of Filth. Actually, I don't know, I just assume. But this is about "songs I'm addicted to" not songs that you may agree with. This song is brilliant, best black metal song ever--and it actually has a pretty depressing story if you ever try to figure out what the heck is being sung.

Girl Anachronism--The Dresden Dolls

This song is so frenetic it's absolutely lovely. It always makes me want to jump around and get my energy out. Mmmmm, energy....

Eye--Smashing Pumpkins

Have any of you ever heard this song? It's absolutely wonderful. I already knew about it but I got it off of the Lost Highway soundtrack. That's a good soundtrack, by the way. Everything Lost Highway is good. Everything Lynch is good? No, not really, but he's doing some new project now and I can't wait to see it.

Tomahawk--Aktion 3K4

I actually have no idea what this song is called, "Aktion" something, but it's a pretty good metal song. It has Mike Patton, the lead of Fantomas. I really respect Mike Patton's work, even when it's not that good. It's that he keeps doing different things and he seems to have a lot of fun, and you can hear it in his music, and sometimes that's all that matters. This song--to keep this from becoming a list of my favorite bands or something, I don't know--is just a blast... at the end, literally. Heh.

Iiii think that's just about all for now. A couple of months ago I gave up all hope of even attempting to define what music I listen to. I've been much happier for it, especially considering that music genres make absolutely no sense at all. From now on, it's what I like, what's okay, and what should never have been made.

I know that song and I love it. Fantomas is great. Mike Patton in is a genius.
