I'm just wondering what kind of hair styles are spread out among goths. I'm looking to change my drabby short, black, wear a hat everyday to flatten my hair, hairstyle...so...describe away!...Also, any advice on how to get curly hair not so curly? My hair drives me nuts!

There are solutions and procedures that can straighten curly hair. Best to talk to your hairstylist about it. As for styles, if you're feeling adventurous, how about a deathhawk?

Also, something similer to broken's deathhawk, a "Bihawk". For the most part they look like they sound. Basically a split deathhawk.

Sorry Lunamoth...you can tell I'm a newbie here. It seems as though all of the topics have already been posted and they're lost in endless amounts of threads...

We have plenty of pinned posts all over the place that are there to help newbies along, I suggest reading some.

Yeah, that's what the Search button is for, to retrieve those topics from among all the other threads...

Hmmm.... I have my hair in a graduated bob dyed blue black... a bit like some of the 1920s movie stars

I usually moose my hair and grunge it up into stylish loose curls. Sometimes I want to wear it flat so I brush it after a shower and hairspray it. But it really depends on your hair type. It may be harder for you to flatten yours.

I have very straight hair, mine is dyed black and I usually wear it in some type of French Braid style. I can throw in a purple ribbon down the middle, braid it down both sides into a set of wild ponytails-you name it. Anything goes and I can always do a straight french braid for my meeting with my professor.

I have shoulder length, wavy, brown hair. I haven't got around to dyeing it yet, and when I do it will probably be a very dark brown. It's almost blonde now. I usually wear it down, behind my ears and straightened because I cannot stand my hair when it's wavy in the front. :S

My hair is about shoulder length. It's dyed black with firetruck red streaks, although it needs to be redyed as it's become dark brown with lighter brown streaks. I usually wear it up in a bun or ponytail; if I leave it down, I straighten it with a flatiron that has ceramic plates.

I have very long hair. Usually its dyed blue black, and I have streaks of colour put through when I get it dyed- usually red, blue or purple ones...
I am thinking of changing the colour to a very dark blue almost black colour...
I'm also lucky that my long hair is also very straight and thick- it tends to sit beautifully flat when I wear it out... I actually have the problem that my hair won't curl or crimp very well... if I curl it the curls disappear within the hour... I usually wear it down, but if its up it usually has ribbons or flowers or clips in it...
