Most ethnic beauty-supply stores carry black lipstick. Aside from the typical crappy black lipstick you can find everywhere around halloween, good black lipsticks are usually marketed to dark-skinned women. I have some from Revlon that I got from a shop around the corner from my house. Really nice stuff with a touch of gloss that doesn't dry out your lips or run like the cheap stuff.

I just got back from CVS, where I found some black lipstick. So if you have a CVS near you, you're in luck, although other drug store chains might carry it.

The brand is called Black Radiance (even though there's only one shade of black in their line), and the color is #5024 Black Onyx. It's only $1.99. I'm wearing it right now and it seems to be pretty decent and non-drying. Yeah, like most other lipsticks, it's not quite kiss-proof (but then again, I'm hard on lipstick). If you're out somewhere and having something to drink, using a straw can help minimize how often you have to reapply. :D

Oh my gosh, I guess I'm not the only one who has done that!

What I did actually was apply this metallic 'tawny' lipstick and then use black eyelash intensifier over it (I was very limited in my makeup options). It created a very interesting temporary black-metallic effect, which served me well for the few minutes of filming while I had it on....

...though I was careful not to lick my lips in case the stuff was toxic or something.... :P

Thine for eternity,
Seraphim

Yeah, eyeliners a good trick for when you cant get lipstick, i covered mine with gloss though BIG MISTAKE, it ran down my chin and dried. It gave the impression i had a drooling problem and although i thought it looked cool noone else shared my view.

Novelty shops and costume supply shops often carry it, but the quality really varies.

your local Hot Topic usually has wide verity of all sorts of lipsticks, eyeliners, and other goth makeup even foundation to pale up the face! if you don't have a Hot Topic the internet always has it.

Is there an echo in here? Before posting in a thread, try reading the whole thing to be sure you're not just repeating exactly what someone else already said.

And on that note, I think we've exhausted the ideas of where to get black lipstick. Thread closed.
