I like the design, don't get me wrong. But they're a bit hard to read. The white cobwebs and red text creates too much of a squint factor. Is there anyway to create buttons that have, for example red cobwebs and white text so the actual word shows up better for people?

I tried red cobwebs and white text when I was toying around with the 'moved' and 'locked' buttons, and it was definitely not a good idea, it looked pretty nasty.
I'll probably end up darkening the stroke around the letters somewhat, that will make them stand out a bit more than they already do.
Who else is having issues with the legibility of the buttons?

Yeah, I did have a slight problem with the words. Maybe it's the font that bothered me, I'm not sure.
I do like the buttons though! They are a nice touch . . . just takes a moment for the eyes to adjust to them, is all.

They look alright to me, probably because I've been looking at them all evening. :I

I noticed them earlier, and had no trouble reading them. But then I already knew what they said, so perhaps that's not really a fair test?

I think it may just be that particular font for me.
