Yeah, I know it`s still early, but I`m curious as to who will be attending this next year`s Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig.....

I`ll be flying in from Japan, and it will be my first of hopefully many WGT fests..... I definitely hope Diary of Dreams, Tanzwut, Oneiroid Psychosis, Corvus Corax, Militia Christi, YelworC, Project Pitchfork, Das Ich, Mondsucht, and Psychonaut 75 perform along with many others......

I am very likely to go there... at the moment I am in Germany so getting there will be no problem. But damn - you will have a pretty long flight centurion! You have never been there? I guess first its something for your eyes because there are so many really damn-goodlooking people every year ;P

I`ll probably be going with one of my japanese friends, who will be camping there....
Not to mention the quality of bands is superb every year.... I would really like to see Diary of Dreams or Tanzwut perform, and all the other amazing bands people on internet forums never seem to talk about

The Human League(I take it this will be sort of an exclusive reunion performance)

Looking good already..... Every year there's such a diverse range of bands showing how much gothic music has actually grown.

I went to WGT 2004 and it was amazing, defanately going to this one. 8 bands confirmed already btw.

If someone from here is coming we have to make a meetup.

jepp, definitly. I must admit I am not that interested in all the bands but in meeting people. You know better - so who do you think is it worth to have a look at?

Well, I suppose I`m going for the bands and the sights and sounds and meeting those with similar music tastes as well.... definitely interested in seeing the more medieval parts of the festival.....

Not suprising Das Ich will play.... I know they`ve played many WGT fests, but I`d still like to see them. Also Subway to Sally..... sounds good so far!!

out of 8 bands that are there already, 6 of them are defanately worth it. Last year I couldnt have a look at all the bands I wanted to because the times at which they performed were the same and it takes time to get around the city, there are like 6 stages all over the town.

Yeah, Greyhound and that one with the long French name are new to me.... I suppose Greyhound is somewhat in the rhythmic noise genre, while the other one looks more like a neo-classical/darkwave type band.
My top priorities are Tiamat and Das Ich, and also Subway to Sally and Welle:Erdball. Penumbra are one of those gothic metal bands with female vocals a la Tristania I take it?? I`ve heard of them but never bought their cds.

2005, no, as the money i'm saving up goes to the GN meetup, or failing that, moving to Europe. 2006, on the other hand, if I've moved to Europe by then...HELL YEAH

i will be there again, i don't live very far from leipzig, the bands are okay, and it's cheap.. so whhhyy not ^^
