I was wondering does anyone know the address to the piercing/tattoo place in berkeley called Zebra or sumthing?
I really need it cuz I went to Body Exotic in downtown San Jose to get my lip pierced but they wont do it cuz i'm not 16.

Yea you guys are mostly in larger cities or close to them. I live in Redlands which is bout an hour to the east of L.A. If you have ever been to palm springs by way of the 10 freeway then u went through redlands. Boring little town but that soccer star landon dunavon lived here and the Baltimore Ravens head coach went RHS ( a highschool here) so we have our own little claim to fame. Not to mention the guy who invented the klenex lived here i think.

Hehe.. the klenex guy? really? I did not know that. Ok then.

Oh by the way for those of you who don't know, I live in Redlands too. Yeah, it sucks here. Avoid it if you can.

I remember getting close to redlands... once. You guys have a couple interesting radio stations out there, but, er, not much else. I pity you in redlands. But hey... at least you have a goth scene bigger than the one in Newbury Park which amounts to.... uh..... me.

You want a shit town outside of LA? anyone here ever been to a little grease spot named Colton? Talk about teh toe fungus of Los Angeles... just scrap metal and chop shops as far as the eye can see. And rock. They mine fucking gravel there, folks. This is near the end point of the other side of the 210 where they haven't finished construction.

HAHA colton i know where that is, and san bernardino, and riverside, and rialto. Mostly cause i play soccer against their teams. I would not walk around any of those towns ever. scary people.

Redlands has a waterpark, a huge supply of water (suckers in other areas have to limit how much they use). The only radio stations i listen to out here are KROQ and X 103.9 other than that its all classical stuff.

oh and i just remembered that we have a mountain lion that is lose around a park out here. My cross country team practices at that park too........now we have a reason to run.

Fuck... My cousins and my aunt live in newbury park. Of cource we don't talk to that side of the family so I haven't been there since I was about 6, but thas still really weird. GAH! (k I'm really tired and.. yeah. I find that strange.)

oh, and the thing about here (redlands) is hardly anyone knows how to think for themselves, hence the little or no goth scene. *sigh* I can't wait to move, I can't wait to move, I can't wait to move..... :I

Oh come now, I've grown somewhat fond of my wee little town. It has some pretty little sites and shops. Then again, I must admit that I don't spend much time prowling the town anyhow College life has sucked me into a big dark void. The coffee shops are *darling* though, my favorite being J&J and I've spotted some delightful people there. As far as the seemingly borg-like, label wearing, children of the corn go, they can have their blandness...can't be picky and perpetuate the cruel hiearchy of personal style, I'm too pleased with my own self Oh dear, I sound almost cheeful!

There used to be a fabulous radio station a few years back that came on friday & saturday evenings...anyone remember *Static Radio*? They played some great stuff. Everything from SATB to Wumpscut but I think they were booted off the air ???. Also KUCR (88.3fm) plays some industrial/ambient/fun stuff now and then (saturdays?) when their one good show comes on.

Colton is indeed the toilet bowl of the Inland Empire. There is no arguement against that. However Riverside is fab!

Intersting... Although I think you've gotten so used to Redlands because you're older. I can't even drive yet. So I'm confined to my little part of this little town and, frankly, it's not too fun. Anywho you're lucky you have places to go and ways go get there. Heh. So maybe I should change the whole "i cant wait to move" to... I can't wait to drive. heh.

and about the individuality thingy, I pretty much feel the same way, even started an argument in drama about it today. heh heh heh =:)

ahh, KROQ. I have to say that station has much improved in recent months. I stopped listening in 1998 after ska took over for a year and skipped over the whole numetal thing. But now that a couple local Whiskey A-Go-Go bands and stuff like The Strokes are getting air play I'm all about KROQ again.
Unfortunately because I have two mountain ranges separating me from KROQ (The Hollywood Hills AND the Santa Monica mountains...I live on the other side of the west end of the Valley) I don't get as good of reception as I wish I did.

The short term radio silence on 106.7 FM prompts my friend DarkHermes to ask if he's still in Southern California when he comes up the coast to visit me. :b
