I'm from southern PA. Like so far down that I can get to Maryland in under half an hour (if I drive too fast... ;) ) I'm from Lancaster, where driver's ed really does include a lesson on how to dodge "road apples". I rarely see any other goths around here... tis rather depressing. Even our local Hot Topic is overrun with preps that think they're 'like, sooo totally cool' by dressing up like Avril and Hillary. *gag*

I'm stuck in State College, Pa. Which is smack dab in the middle of the state. Saw a guest left a message here saying he/she/it/something was from the area but thats not too reliable. If anyone ever passes through this way drop me a line. I'm always up for meeting new people.

Dr.

I am from the area around Dubois, State College is fairly close, my son has been there for concerts and I know a girl going to Penn State. Is this why you are stuck there?

thats right! I mean, who else knows what we mean when we say gob, or creek (pronounced: crick), or that something's slippy?
ahh...what a great place! (and I'm only being partially sarcastic)

Don't forget the significance of "yinz" or "warsh" or "jaggoff" :D

I know this post was last replied on Aug. 4 2006, but I just joined this place today. So I feel like posting just to say that I live in PA.
