I'm with prez, I usually don't like to wear hoodies unless I don't really care that day, beside my trench is much warmer than any hoodie.

Hmm,

I don't know if I ever posted this before (maybe) but look what I found while me and two friends was in Gothenburg working (doing a fire-show) this autumn...

Obvisouly, they already exist: Clicky-Clicky

I'm not a big fan of this idea.

It gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'trenchcoat brigade'. The last thing we need is some asswipes to be doing shit wearing our trenchcoats...

Funky t-shirts, I get. But stuff that makes people start looking like it's a uniform, no thanks.

Goth or not how could anyone pass up the chance at their own army? :P

T-Shirts yeah sounds like a good idea I would definatly support everything from a full print out of a goth.net logo to maybe in just red letters "goth.net" and maybe a witty saying or two from one of the mods.. hmm or maybe a giant potrait of prez and lilith ... just a suggestion? :P

International shipping would have to be a big thing to keep in mind because thats one of the biggest reasons I don't order many things online is because somtimes a $40 hoodie can turn into $120 (that was from american to canadian plus shippign and all that crap)

Maybe long sleaved shirts aswell for those colder days. Personaly I would suggest $20-30 (canadian) per t-shirt, my general rule is anymore than $25 for a T-shirt is to much.
things I have seen online for sites are:

- T-Shirts
- Long sleaved shirts
- hoodies
- coffee mugs
- back packs
- shoulder bags
- Journals
- mouspads

oh and a goth.net travel make up case would be nice!... i'm just saying this because I want an excuse to get a make up case but it could work.

i sugest take it slowly and add only a few items at a time. once you've gained enough capitol to produce your first set of merchantdice then add more as your capitol increases. but the idea of CD's is very unlikly, 1. most record companies control the release of CD's of the bands they are contracted with.*they dont let them go out ont their own leash* and 2. They would want a bit more money then usual for this.

I'd say start out with the simple things like mugs, pens, ashtrays, and mugs and/or cups. but also rember this could not be like by new people visiting the site thinking that you are like hot topic.

Also T-shirts are actualy pretty expensive as it usualy costs 5 bucks for 10 regular colored t's and plus 10 for a ironed on logo. or you can get usualy a 20 dollar silkscreening( the best quality of t-shirt ) also rember pending upon teh area of which and company you use this may or may not be the same.*this is asuming a large number in order and number of colors.*

shipping could be a a problem but if members are buying i asume they would be willing to wait a little while.

so other then that its just knowing how to release your merchantdise. -/.-

Im not sure I would wear anything with a crazy design on it. But that is just one person talking. A hoodie with GOTH.NET in red about 1 inch in hight and 4 or 5 inches across would be cool though.

hehe. How about Goth.net Lighters? I'd love to have one of those. (It'd go along with the ash trays.) As for the t-shirts, there will be black, right? (Stupid question...)

I don't know if this idea is still being considered, but with regards to shipping and such, what about considering something like http://www.cafepress.com ? From what I understand you just give them the designs and then they'll print it out for you and ship world wide and they send you a monthly check for all your earnings.

starting with t-shirts seems like a good idea to me, I'm around small business things a lot and usually t-shirts work out best because they work for the most people- ashtrays are awesome, but i doubt that would thrill the parents of younger goth.netters, but its definately a awesome idea.

I was thinking about t-shirt designs and came up with something similar to what a lot of tour t-shirts have. however, instead of a list of playing locations on the back in a small font, it would be a list of tons of goth bands. Then, still on the back, either on top of the list or above it (or something) it could say something like "know your music" and on the front it could have the Goth. Net logo. That way it'd advertise Goth.net and give folks an idea of what a goth really is.. but thats just idea.

When t-shirts finally come out I'll have to get one.
