True babe, true. I understand. Mountbank I never tired to get to you, remeber you tried at me and I tell ya, I do bite. I never meant for harm but I would like to quote sumthing. Just because I'm new dosen't mean I don't know anything and dosent mean you should treat me differently. I mean you started of new didn't you? And you wouldnt like it if people treated you different just because you were new would you? I just wanna say no harsh feelings. I only meant by perth being isolated cos of the little opportunitys we get. The little the populations and soo on you get the picture.

I hate to agree- but I agree... Perth isn't exactly a hotspot for much you know... our 'goth culture' isn't booming by any standards- just look at the number of 'goth' stores that have closed down in the last 5 years (and before you ask, I've lost count ), we miss out on tonnes of good music acts coming here, and lets face it- we're about 2 years behind the other side of the country when it comes to most things... fashion, restaurants, movies, etc... But as a wise mod here once said, don't bitch about the lack of culture- go out and make it happen...

Which brings me to my next point- how many of you would be interested in attending a Perth Goth.Net meetup? As I said to scrat, its been talked about before, but it just never happened....

Yeah I'm indeed interested. Even more so now I'm on holidays and feel like meeting new people.

It's fair enough what you said kykyi. I suppose what I was trying to do was show you what it can be like on here when you're not careful so you're ready for next time.

I have not been on here a while, busy as hell itself. :( I most definately would love a gathering to take place, speaking of places...where would this happen? There are not many places to go that is not loud as hell, or have dress-codes, or are not too expensive...I am clueless here. :/ Perth cbd somewhere? Carousel somewhere? Freo? *shrugs*

Kings Park is a nice enough place I guess. But I have not been there in nearly a decade, so, maybe it is very-different since I was last there? I'd get lost probably... Do they still have that DNA tower? There was a War Memorial there, and the coffe shop/café thingy too, I guess these three things are still there right? Maybe meet up at the memorial then, everyone knows where that is. Even Me, myself & I! hehehe With my decade of absence...

Yeah its has changed a lot from what it once was, its really really nice now, I can't remember what it was like ages ago. I remember not liking it though. I like it now, I haven't been there since last year though.

I don't know what the DNA tower is....actually I have a slight recollection, I'm not sure.

on another note. I noticed when I entered 78s on friday night that KMFDM will be there for an in-store signing and they're playing a concert here.

The DNA tower is still most definately there... Its the best place in Perth to go and watch the sunrise... especially on a cold morning when its a little foggy *drifts away into memories*

erm... sorry... yeah, I saw the posters for KMFDM when I drove through the city yesterday... actually I was searching for a place called Red Stripe... sposed to have some awesome clothes... am going to investigate further when I have a chance :)

Yes Red Stripe! Its supposed to be in Northbridge somewhere, tell me when you find it please. My friend Marley said she was going to take me there, I think she knows where it is. If I find out before you I shall let you know.

Yeah, you did hey! *g* When is a good day for everyone here to catch-up? For me it is any Saturday or Sunday. How does the Sunday after new-years sound to you guys? (Sunday, January 2nd, 2005.)

...well, slightly to the left of that corner anywayz ;) (The corner that has that Mega Mart store...) It is on the left side of Exotic Piercings in Northbridge. It's a tiny little shop! I went there this evening, they do have some good boots there from the glance I had time for. I will go there tomorrow arvo after work at 4:30 and maybe buy some stuff... hehe

What do the prices look like? Is it something absurd?

Any time is a good time for me to meet up in the next two months.
