Eeeeep, I haven't posted here in a looooooooooooong time! I've been making clothes for bjd's and selling them on ebay. For a full list of the outfits I've made and sold (and tons of photos of Wisteria) check out::

Juliet--

Wowwwww. Gorgeous. I love Wist's pink wig--it suits her very well. And those wings are to die for. Her outfits are all lovely. I especially like the pink checkered one and the silver and white one. Oooooh.

How long does it usually take you to make an outfit?

~Merewena, in awe, as usual. :D

Thanks Merewena! ^_^

It usually takes about a day to complete an outfit.

I've just started making bodices/corsets so I'll post photos once they are completed ^^

I don't care if people are going to laugh at me ... I must get myself one of these dolls. I love the silver hair on Wist...as always she is so pretty...I think I'm going to have to save up (Note to self: must figure out exchange rates) and buy.

Carefull though, this hobby can become quite addicting! I've just ordered a Dark Elf Head, for Wisteria, it should arrive some time this week!!! Gah! O_O; It has the cutest little elf ears!!!! ^_^;;; At a later stage I'll order another body, but for the time being the girls will have to share Wisterias body. :p

Eh, nobody is going to laugh, there are quite a number of males into this hobby too y'know! ^_^\m/

Eh, prices vary depending on what doll you get and what company you order from. Personally I prefer Luts-cerberus project as their girls are by far the prettiest I've seen (their boy dolls are too die for aswell! A great example of one of their male dolls is Vampire Shiwoo *drool* ). Also, you get more for your money at Luts.

Thankyou for your advice. . .I looked at Volks and realised the only ones I have a hope of being able to afford are the 27cm ones.

That Vampire Shiwoo is soo cool, I want it. Unfortunately the site's not wanting to be translated via babelfish (grrrrr, not to mention that it costs over $1 000) and I can't wait to see what you do with the dark elf head...so very, very pretty

Luts- is a Korean company so you'll need the Korean to english translation...however, bablefish doesn't seem to be able to decode it.

I order my Luts dolls through a Korean site called Dollmore. (Use the Korean - English option on Bablefish...although the translation is VERY bad! lol ). Great service and lightning fast shipping! Just email the owner with any questions you have. They only have a few different Korean bjd's brands for sale on the website but can get you pretty much any doll you see on Luts (depending on it's availability).

It's less expensive than volks, for about $600.00 (give or take $100.00), you can get a stunning doll that has already been sanded and coated (with Volks you have to sand and coat the doll yourself), you get the eyes, the wig, and depending on the specific order, an extra pair of hands/shoes/head...whatever.

Anyway, it's interesting to look at, dolly window shopping is fun!

May I first say, Juliet, she is absolutely *beautiful*. As an added note, LUTS, the company Wist comes from, now has an english site. LUTS , knock yourselves out.

I have a Cerberus Project doll myself, a Chiwoo model. Truly he isn't that presentable, all he has are pants, but what can you do? I've never sewn anything above a mini-quilt, for school, and I have no money for other clothes.

But, since it bears repeating, Wist is such a gorgeous doll. I love her eyes, and her clothing is fabulous! Maybe some more pictures, hm?

Apologies if this thread is too old to bring up again.

0_0 she is beau-ti-ful... I've never heard of those dolls before but after some trailing through the links provided... I want the Vampire Shiwoo too. Desperately.
He wouldn't leave much customisation to be had though, which from Wist's gorgeous clothes I assume is the whole fun of it :P
