That coat is amazing, as are the black and red wingtips. Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka is going to be so great
I'm so looking forward to this movie. And I'm hoping Tim Burton will restore some of the creepiness and macabre humour that always laced Roald Dahl's work, rather than have it the happy shiney kidfest that the original was.
Gene Wilder's performance notwithstanding, I was never a huge fan of the original, as I never felt that it was that similar to the book I remembered reading as a kid.

And thank god they are actually calling it Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this time around . . . you know, like it's supposed to be titled. I am hoping that this outing will also eschew the musical numbers (excluding the Oompa-Loompas of course, who can sing until their little orange faces turn blue if they feel like it). However, they had better replicate the acid trip boat ride, complete with real severed chicken heads.

Oh how I hope they make this movie right. Of course, that won't even matter with Johnny Depp in the movie....I'll just HAVE to go see it.
Like Lil said, Rowr.

They'd better be real people playing them. #( I've heard rumours that they might be cgi'd but than it's Burton so probably not.

I seriously doubt anyone would ever remove them from a movie.

Why did they call it Willie Wonka anyways?
I've noticed that poster popping up all over.
It seems that this children's film has suddenly become a female mastebatory fantasy.
I'm guessing it's a re-adeptation of the book and not a remake of the 70's film.

Imdb.com lists 2 names who are credited as being Oompa Loompas, so there's at least a few people playing them. The cast list also isn't complete yet either.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367594/fullcredits
The kid playing Charlie is also in Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet.

Maybe they thought that was more catchy than Charlie? especially for people who hadn't read the book?
No idea.
Imdb.com doesn't say either.

Yum, yum yum....
They couldn't have done better if they made a life size chocolate replica of Johnny Depp. *swoon*
I lurve that coat! And I have a feeling that I'll be making one for a certain nightstalker in the near future....

I want that fabric that they used. It looks like a velvet with a stripe in it.
And it just looks plain gorgeous, and as with most velvet it looks inviting enough to rub ones hands all over. Of course the person inside the coat helps
