I'm not even remotely from Australia, but, I passed this link onto a friend of mine who is in Adelaide. I'm hoping she joins and gets to find other creatures of the night down there. :)

Yes there are a couple goth clubs but unfortunately they only run sporadically.

The major one is Necromancy run by DJ Empusa who's website can be foundhere
Flyers for this aren't too hard to find, just drop into Kollectible Kaos on Rundle Mall or look in the Goth/Industrial/Noise CD section at Big Star Records on Rundle St. You can also find out more about it by tuning into 3D Radio 93.7 FM every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 7:30 pm for Shadowplay, which DJ Empusa often appears on to do some sets.

The problem with Necromancy though is that all goth music is advertised to be played during the evening but Empusa really specialises in EBM/Synthpop and not much else is heard but just that during the evenings.

Necromancy's are usually held on the top floor of Enigma Bar on specified Saturday nights, usually each month and sometimes less.

The second is Forsaken which is held each last Friday of the month at 02 Nightclub on Blythe street, which caters to a more Goth Rock/Industrial audience and sometimes have live bands playing. Though the advertising for this one is terrible, regardless of great interest.

And thanks Vervain, we need all that we can get..the scene is practically dead here =(

Dark Pixie and Megiddon, if you've joined do let me know your usernames :)
