Actually, it's been cloudy in the mornings and late afternoons near the coast (I'm on the west side of Los Angeles).
What types of clubs do you have in mind? Some here play a mix of different kinds, although my favorite is a trad/deathrock club "Release the Bats" in Long Beach on the 4th Friday of each month (and sometimes additional events).
Das Bunker is industrial and is every Friday night.

I hadn't really gotten as far as looking for specific clubs yet, I've been sorta preoccupied with everything else leading up to the move....... however the "Release the Bats" sounds like something I might like and will almost certainly check that out once I get the important things stabilized.......(gotta keep the priorities in order....)

Release the Bats has a nice, homemade and down-to-earth feel to it. Plus the drinks are cheap - I paid $4 for a vodka and coke.

Hopefully once you get here, LS, this heat wave we're having will have passed and it'll be nice and comfortable when ya arrive in California (ok, i'm not entirely sure if ALL of California is suffering from it, but southern California is in areas)

I just arrived in L.A. about a month ago and had assumed it was always this hot in the summer.....its good to hear that might not be the case.

Ive decided to wait until after Ive acquired legitimate employment to hit the clubs......you know the whole priorities thing.....got a second interview tomorrow though !
