Sorry for the new thread, but I tried bumping the old one three times, and never got any feedback. If there are no more NoLa locals, that's cool, i'll let the thread die, and be on my way.

Me and my lovely lady are moving to New Orleans on the 7th of July, and would love to find a club scene and maybe meet up with people!

Also, we're liasoning with a couple of local burlesque groups to add her musical talents on the accordian, and my pedigree of sideshow performance! Anyone we meet is of course invited to come shatter a cinderblock over my crotch!

Anything we should know about the scene?

Well, we start the drive Monday morning. Guess that I am not going to get any feedback from this forum.

Well, through much trial and error, and meeting good people, I have located what little of the NOLA goth scene is left, and the hotspots on the area.

If anyone needs any info or suggestions on clubs etc in New Orleans, drop me a message.

Since you never got any response, maybe it's because the NoLA goths don't know about the site.

You should give them a heads up and maybe pass around our url.

I know this thread is lacking activity, but as I hope to visit NoLa one day & hope to maybe make friends there, I'd love to keep in the loop about any club nights, shops, events ect. going on there...Come on NoLa darksiders, where are you guys at?! Guess NoLa is no longer the goth capital of the US...

While building a Google map, I found this...may be a bit too touristy for some, but it seems to be a goth club nonetheless!

It is a very touristy goth club to be sure. Unfortunately, it's also the only goth club in the French Quarter. I won't tell anyone not to go, but do not be surprised if you walk in to find people in Polo shirts with cameras around their neck gawking at you as though the club was Fangtasia.
