Well my week in the UK rules !
God this place makes Belgium look like a grave yard.
I have seen about 10 goths in about 1 week !
All very friendly too
If I get lucky in Belgium I see 4 (two being me and my friend).
It is so mutch more easy'er here to get 'into goth' here.
Club's, Clothes, Music.... all over the place.
Is it alway's like this or am I just lucky ?
Hopfully I will be moving here soon.
Anyway times up I must go
Cya

Where in the UK did you see all these Goths?
I'm presuming it was either London or somewhere up in the Midlands.

*sigh* Isn't this better suited to the Europe forum?
Anyway, like Trag says, it must be down South somewhere. Up North's like the bloody moon. In EVERY way!

I'm in the east and we have plenty of goths. No decent goth clubs or anything, but plenty of goths *shrugs*

Which East sorrow? North East? South? I assume you mean North-East, and if so...where at? Because I'm also out there!

Definatly not like that up here in Yorkshire. There's fuck all here, I have seen zero goths in this town, if there are any they must be very well hidden. There aren't any clubs or stores to go to here if you're looking for goth, you have to travel to Leeds which is too far away in my opinion.

Aye it sucks in Middlesbrough to. Both the Goth and Gay scene here suck I have 2 bars and one club I can go to and know I'm not going to get the shezang beat out of me. And one of those figured out I'm not 18.
I am SO moving. But where to is the question. Londons not for me, Ireland, Manchester or Edinburgh... I get the feeling I've said this before.
Stupid sucky North East.

Hey! Belgium may not be the most lively of places but we do have some good stuff, just take a look at this, http://www.kagankalender.com/, for example. If you know where to look some goodies can be unearthed. Have you been to Windows, to Pilgrimage or the Steeple? If not I reccomend that you do some day, you might be pleasantly surprised.

I decided to post this comment here as it's the closest related thread I can think of, and I felt it was important to point out that just because you can do it, doesn't mean everyone else in the world can.
From what I've just read in another thread that's been locked I want to point out here that it was pretty bad advice to say "go order clothes online" and leave it at that, that is not possible for everyone and it is arrogance to assume so. Not everyone has the internet and/or not everyone has a card or even a cheque book to use to order things with by mail order or online. I know very few people who have either of these things and what are they supposed to do? And no customising or making your own clothes isn't always possible for those of us who have busy lives, I don't have any days of the week free to myself most of the time because I'm either working or at lectures, and the same goes for a lot of other people too.
NB: When I said not everyone has the internet, it would be also arrogant of anyone to point out that the person who started the thread must be on the internet because they posted, not so, if you're using a pc at school/college/uni/work you can't use mail order than and most sites like that are blocked anyway.

Then you can't buy clothes, I suppose. How awful for someone to suggest a good place to buy clothes from. Sitting on a message board whining about how you can't buy any is not going to help, it just annoys everyone else, which is why we don't like it. So don't do it.

Excuse me but I wasn't the one complaining about it, and no they weren't suggesting any good shops to buy it from, they were giving advice to use mail order which like I said not everyone can use. Now if they did suggest any real physical shops that people could go to then that would be good advice. I'm not the one who is having trouble buying clothes because I know of places to go to but I'm simply pointing out that some people gave bad advice, that is only any good to a select few.
