Okay this IS WIERD! - I am so confused...

 This is what I have to live with:
I have not been able to get into goth.net on the whole weekend as you see on the pic. Nothing goes thru at all... Other people that I have spoken that uses Swedish ISPs cannot access the site either (perhaps they can now since I can connect)... I am addicted to this board, so Imagine what it does to me not being able to access it on one whole weekend 
When I talked to Lilith @ iCQ she told me that there had been a four hour downtime at friday or sathurday morning (my time) but that the server was up and running again... ??? I'm having a little trouble too, but it seems to have cleared up. Accessing through the school's LAN ISDN line and I couldn't even get the page up. A friend pinged the site and it came back in the low twenties. And it wasn't around the downtime Lil mentioned either.

How odd; I have occaisional problems myself, but the admins say that it's 100%. (I'm in Sydney, Australia, by the way).

Uhhm,
Its probably more because all ICMP traffic (aka. PING) is blocked at the boarder router to my network. You can try traceroute, depending on the implementation, it might get through, but ping will not. Best test is to go to http://www.goth.net and see if it comes up, or even try logging onto the IRC server (sanctuary.darker.net). I see...
Then let me add to this that I tried http://www.goth.net everytime before I did a ping (will do traceroute from now on) and I could not access it. I just got: "A connection failure occurred" or something like that using whatever browser I tried... ??? It seems to be working fine right now and has been okay for several days...
