Since we are moving I am going to get to decorate the entire house- including the bedroom.

I am going to do the bedroom in a very Pagan manner. I am thinking of making it a forest theme with dark earth tones and murals on the wall of a mythological forest with creatures (faerie and centaurs) and the woods, etc... the bathroom in the bedroom is going to look as if you were inside an ancient tree.

The sitting room is going to be victorian. The activity area is a Medieval dungeon theme. The wash room will be a cemetery where the dead are honored with their names written on the tombstones. The Dining room will be victorian as well. The bathroom will resemble a beach at midnight. My son's room will me black and red with Disney Cars theme. My daughter will have purple and blue Tinkerbell and resemble a garden. My library/Ritual room is going to be a mixture of all I love. There will be one Victorian like fainting couch, one tiny table, and my ritual table in the center of the room. There will be a (fake) chandelier and the walls, etc.. I think will be painted strictly black. Above my chair will be a dark portrait (as soon as I find on I like enough!)

So yeah that is my room and house when everything is completed.

Gorgeous!

I love my bedroom it is forest themed. I have a forest painted on the walls and the bed is made out of logs and it has sheets that look like logs. The furniture is also made to look like its made out of logs. I have had this room since freshman year in high school so it has grown on me when I have my own house I will probably make the guest room this way so that when I want to have a blast from the past I can just sleep in that room.

Ideally, I am hoping to have a bedroom that is painted an interesting color, perhaps an industrial gray with lots of cobalt blue decorations. I also am hoping to have a house in which my bedroom is in the basement so that I can enjoy the dark and the cool when I sleep.

Moved upstairs now, not much more to look at, but a lot more room to move around in. And I have my own bed! Which currently has purple sheets. Such a beautiful color....

Lavender/slate grey walls, old linoleum floor. I can't tell if the pattern on it is plumes or plume-y leaves, but its kind of a very muted grey-olive.

Sounds really pretty, kitten in a casket! Right now my room looks like it was torn apart by a tornado.

Err, at the moment it resembles nothing so much as a cave that has been subject to an emergency landing by a supplies plane.

I had a wonderful idea for redecorating my room a few days ago. I want to paint the walls like old stone bricks, maybe with some moss here and there, nice a dark so they look old. Then paint some of my furniture like old bones or similar.

I don't know what it would cost you, but they make tiles that look like fake stonework that they use on the outsides of modern mcmansions to make them look older than they really are.

Thanks, I might look into that, but I think it'd be cheaper to paint it.

My bedroom does not make a lick of sense. I've got lilac walls, some anime/band posters, a variety of books, my white computer desk and vanity, and wooden framed bed. Random shit everywhere; there is no theme.
Ideally I would love more closet space, hardwood floors, and an off white/cream for the walls. I'd love some antique/Victorian furniture and a four-poster :D Oh, and I wish I could get some direct sun in my room too :\ Rainy days like today are too dark and I don't like turning my overhead light on!

I know, I know  Believe me, I used to have my window completely blocked up and never wanted to see the sun, but now that I've taken that all down I've come to actually enjoy the light :) Also helps a bit with depression too~! I also sunbathe sometimes but I redeem myself by using a Goosebumps towel and listening to Bach while I'm at it.

I have no pictures yet. The walls are painted white (they will be painted a dark red, I really cannot stand white walls), and my bed is in a corner. There is also a bookcase, my grandpas drawer, a mirror with tealights, a black rug and boxes which contain my clothes.
I reckon it will look really nice once it's been painted and thoroughly cleaned.

My bedroom is blue and brown, my windows have blankets over them. My bed is simple with a brown blanket, white sheet, no pillow. Animal skulls that need dusted off, an air purifying unit, a pointless shelf. Nothing at all fancy, I'm hoping to get out of this house soon when I get my second job.

My current place is a rental which I can't change the furniture in or paint, so I make do with my thrift store/dumpster finds to decorate the bedroom: two grey and black gothic cathedral photos, a sparkly poster of a Catholic saint standing on a black crescent moon, a black wall vase of peacock feathers and a bundle of mistletoe, some purple and orange lights and black cloth draped over the headboard and bookcase. I found an awesome glittery red sign at the dollar store last Halloween that says "DEAD ZONE" in drippy letters and I stuck that on my door too.
