I have a gargoyle perched on the headboard of my bed. I call him Mr. Snuggles.

Hi Everyone!

My bedroom is blue-green with dark wood furniture. It feels like looking into a deep forest pool to me. I've filled it with all my favourite vintage things and I love it.

My partner has a 'man cave' and it has a massive carved antique bed in it and lots of antique furniture (and his DVDs and TV) - I love his room, but I love mine more.

That is really cool. I love gargoyles.

I have 2; one at moms and one at dads. My moms is my main residence, so naturally it looks much nicer. I painted it a dark gray with red paintings to accent it. I'm getting a mural painted of my favorite bands to hang over my bed. My other paintings an abstract sailboat (also all red). The furniture (dressers, nightstands, bed) is all dark brown with a red leather chair in the corner. I have a little hallway coming out from my room too where I keep all my guitars and amps. Got a cool little futon with a nightstand to act as my sitting area, and I have more abstract pictures of guitars s well as 2 Rammstein flags and a Rammstein poster hanging up.

I like the color scheme and guitars always make everything more awesome. How long have you been playing and what kind of music do you like to play?

My room is pretty simple--three different colour walls (dark & light purple, grey) that match my bedspread. The furniture itself is black. Mostly, I have random handmade knickknacks and drawings spread around. I also have a LOT of dried roses as decoration, and plenty of candles (where would I be without my scented candles)! My keyboard and two guitars also have spots out in the open. ^^ The only thing I plan to change is my curtains (I actually don't have any.. just blinds).
Decorating is such a blast! Especially when it comes to your own room. Good luck with the rest of your decorating! I hope you beat the block!

I've played guitar for two years now, bass for 4 years before that. I've already done 4 live shows when I used to play with a band. Sometimes I can hardly believe that I've established such a resume over a short time of playing. I play/write industrial metal, gothic metal, and Neue Deutsche Harte (Rammstein, megaherz covers and such). I like to cover songs by the Cure, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Metallica and the like in my spare time too. :)

Unfortunately none at the moment. I had a few live performances up on Facebook, but the person who uploaded them might have taken them down. I'm probably going to make a bandcamp account soon, so once I do I'll send you some songs. :D

Any particular cover you'd like to hear?

My apartment. Yes, it is in no way goth, it's just a clean room furnished with dark wood furniture. And no, thats not a bowel on the coffee table.

Fixed link, damn, that's what happens when submitted links from my phone.

Post Re: What does your bedroom look like?
The flat came already furnished and is only temporary until I graduate, so I have to make do with the plain metal and light-colored wood furniture already here. It annoys the hell out of me, the biggest sinner being the horrible bright orange-painted wall right beside my bed. Also, I haven't been able to decorate my lair to my taste due to my financial priorities being what they are... (games, electronics, movies etc.)

The only things actually 'goth' here, are old looking wine bottles that I use as candlesticks and my piles of books, including occult literature and poems. I'm planning on getting a pair of maroon curtains for my windows, and a black carpet with butterflies the first thing next month. Hopefully I'll find a nice tablecloth for my desk too.

My bedroom lacks any sort of customisation, as I have an 'interesting' living situation at the moment (I am still, sort of, living with me ex even if I never see her at home much). Maybe eventually, but for now, very generic white walls with my nerf guns and my bokken to stamp the individuality on the room.

Post Re: What does your bedroom look like?
The walls in my bedroom are cream colored, and I've hesitated to paint them because the former owners put in a pretty rose border that's die cut (that I actually like. I wouldn't mind a different wall color, but I'm too lazy to pull down the border and repaint anyway. My spare room is a lovely burgundy color, but anyone looking to do a red room --- be forewarned --- it's a pain and after three coats of paint plus a faux finish, I still see streaks in the wall (thank goodness they're not that evident).

Here are a few pictures of the artwork and altars in my room, plus my Halloween decorations from my BRIGHT green obnoxious kitchen.

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u77/ ... 3d627b.jpg (I have a small bronze gargoyle I love on my recipe box)
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u77/ ... ieCute.jpg (me in the spare room with red walls --- have been trying to convince the hubs to make this our bedroom)

I recently bought some inexpensive deco style bedroom furniture and that will look a lot better than the white/gold stuff I have (JC Penney 'French Provencial' from the 70s). I've had my white furniture since I was 5!!!

I'd say my room is moderatly goth, i have posters and stuff everywhere, i have a gorgoyle on top of my wardrobe, and i even have a little gothic "shrine" on my cd rack with a few skulls and crosses etc. I reckon its pretty nice, but soon im moving into my college apartment
