Re: Suggestions for new bands/albums to try out?
^ Truth.
Another band I really love is Stone Sour. And I love Slipknot. Corey Taylor is so much more talented than I think he gets credit for.
A band I fully reccomend is Modwheelmood. They're kind of a synthpop type thing. One of the keyboardists from Nine Inch Nails, Alessandro Cortini, he's the vocalist. And the guy from The Abandoned Pools, Pelle Hillstrom, plays guitar. They're pretty freakin' amazing.

It's funny how the hottest one wears the most grotesque mask

But I've always loved Corey's masks, however, his new one creeps me out a little. But I've always loved his masks, BECAUSE they're so disgusting. It's so perfectly ironic, it makes him even hotter. <3

THAT was an interesting conversation with the boyfriend I had at the time... I rather Joey Jordison in Murderdolls personally, my and my ex used to argue about that, he rathered Slipknot. Actually, I rather Murderdolls period. I;m getting married to the gorgeous voice of Wednesday 13! I'd kill small children for that voice... wait, that's too mean

The ugly ones have amazingly beautiful masks and the pretty ones, like Corey, like Joey, have disgusting masks that you can't seem to stop staring at. That's okay. I prefer Slipknot, my brother prefers Murderdolls. Oooh, pretty. Die My Bride? I would...Lock up my brother in a dungeon basement and make him listen to his own signing for Wednesday's voice. That's not TOO mean, right?

I dislike NuMetal greatly. If you want good metal listen to Death, Mayhem, Celtic Frost, Venom, Slayer(early).

Nah, I'd go in a dungeon to hear my own singing as Wednesday's voice... Even though I'm female

But I think that was Frankenstein Drag Queens...Meh. It was still Wednesday. hahaha, dude, if you can do that, you should totally go on Ripley's Believe It Or Not!

Yeah, Your Mother Sucks Cocks in hell was I think under "Wednesday 13" in the "Artist" section. So maybe he got all the songs from the bands he's been in and put them into an album under his name? Never listened to the full song, my iPod killed it after a certain amount of time, but me and the SAME boyfriend (my only one everrrr haha) used to listen to what we could of it, and laugh. He downloaded the full one at home but I couldn't cos my parents mighta seen... The main thing I like about "People Hate Me" is the lyrics. Cos my mate and I reckon society (other people's parents) dislike us and call us names (grown adults... that same boyfriends mother said I should lose this mate cos she thought he was on drugs, which he'd never do) is because we're too cool for them, and we can do what we want without shame and they can't, making us that much awesomer than them. I could never do that, but I AM an alto in choir, me and a mate are the testosterone of the group. We can sing quite low, but I can also sing songs like "Caro Mio Ben" (Can't remember which artist, sorry...) I can't even manage... David Draiman (from Disturbed, also hot), or I dunno... Gyroscope? My voice I think, is pathetically inclined towards classical singing.

Re: Suggestions for new bands/albums to try out?
not a new band, but I recommend Swans, since apparently nobody seems to know who the hell they are, save for a track or two. Whether it is the early, noisier no-wave days or the later, more subtle material, it should be right up your alley.
But perhaps OP is already a Swans listener.

If it's mainstream, then why am I bagged out by regular people for listening to it? The only reason I don't have Wednesday's ilder stuff is I haven't had the time to aquire it. As I said in another thread, I'm paranoid the 'rents are watching me on the computer.
