Bauhaus-Who killed Mr. Moonlight Breaking Benjamin-I will not bow Chemical Brothers-Setting sun (not very goth, like it anyway) Marilyn Manson-Spade (again, not very goth, but the music is good)
There are so many more...but they've all taken flight from my mind now that i've called them home

Right now? 'Moonchild' by 'Fields of the Nephilim' That could change by sundown. -- Sun Mar 28, 2010 2:10 pm -- annwn wrote: Right now?
'Moonchild' by 'Fields of the Nephilim'
That could change by sundown. Now that I think of it, 'Fields of the Nephilim' is the most unapologetically 'Goth' band out there, and they've never--as far as I have been able to discover--attempted to dissociate themselves from the label 'Goth'. they REALLY are proudly so.

Re: Most goth song (for you)
Well, today, I'd have to say it's 'Preacher Man', ALSO by Fields of the Nephilim'.
Tomorrow it will no doubt be something else [most likely also by 'Fields of the Nephilim']

Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones, of course! Also, Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie comes to mind, as well as Everyday is Halloween by Ministry.

I would have to say, odd as it is, Beethoven's 5th symphony and Toccata and Fugue by J.S. Bach. No lyrics needed, and up to personal interpretation.

Too maaaaaany to choose. Thought for now the first song that pops up as the most goth is "The Night is Young" by Nosferatu.

Re: Most goth song (for you)
I guess I'd have to say songs that really bring an emotional part of me out. A chilled, and possibly even morbid emotional part. Obviously not all goth music though. Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart Suicide is Painless (yep, the M*A*S*H theme song - it gives me chills) Roberta Flack - Killing Me Softly Virgin Prunes - Decline and Fall

I change my answer to this. Really lovely organ rendition on you tube. Also I chose it as my theme song for a school activity.
