 Re: LYE
Must Be Santa wrote: Toronto's LYE has been one of my favorite hometown bands for the last few years. Sad to say they're calling it quits. Still suggest you check them out on myspace and they're doing their last show Dec. 18 at Tattoo. Me and a bunch of friends are going to check them out.
Wasn't that into them. Nice guys though, played a few shows with them.
They are not gothic or industrial, however.

i would also appreciate some suggestions
So far my favourite groups are Cruxshadows, Diary of dreams, Deine Lakaien & Anne Clark. Anything else of similar sound/style with the above? (apart from the well known groups such as Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, etc...)
I' m looking forward to your replies!

Try Razed in Black or The Birthday Massacre. The latter is really imaginative tho.
Ayria and Emilie Autumn are really good aswell.

I keep seeing the same bands posted over and over, so I'm going to offer some that may be a bit more obscure, but you could probably find them on other places like soulseek:
Phaidia
The Naked and The Dead
Heart of Snow
Naughty Zombies
Eat Your Make Up
13th Chime
1919 (NOT the new album called "Dark Temple"! Stay away from that)
ADS (danish post-punk band)
DA!
All Gone Dead
Ausgang
Black Ice
Scarlet's Remains (cannot recommend this band enough!)
New Days Delay
Southern Death Cult / Death Cult
Suruaika
The Fifteenth
Strange Dolls Cult
UK Decay
Zadera
Voodoo Church
A Spectre Is Haunting Europe

if you're looking for some awesome music, then LORD TOPH is definately what you want to check out. ( http://www.myspace.com/lordtoph). after that, i recommend Meshuggah, Bury your dead, Black Tide. the others are metal, but they're awesome!

You are now spamming. Knock it off.

Here some of my suggestions:
D'espairsRay- Industrial/goth/death metal group from Japan
Therion- Early work is death metal. More recent work is symphonic/opera metal. These guys are from Sweden.
Epica- Death metal/symphonic metal group from the Netherlands. Someone mentioned After Forever earlier on, these guys are quite similar.

I've removed the image and all the excessive links. One is plenty. If you're going to do a drive-by spam, at least GLANCE at the forum rules. Here's a warning pip for your trouble.
EDIT: On second thought, you are doing blatant self-promotion in the wrong forum altogether. No one else gets to do it, so why should you?

Well..the band name is not Aseptic White..that's the title of the album.. Digitalis Purpurea is the name.. I thought a biography should help to know better that band.. Maybe it was too long.. but I'm not in that band so.. I don't think it's properly spam.. I've copied and paste the infos on their profile.. furthermore I rarely write in forums so I'm not so practice.. sorry if I've annoyed However thank you for you warming welcome..

I've recently been listening to Lacrimosa. They are a good sweedish band with some sweet guitar riffs in some songs, others remind me of classical music. Of which I am a fan.
