Besides, Jon Bon Jovi lost his balls after being in that stupid vampire movie. Idr what it was called, but it kinda sucked. Not as bad as Twilight, but still. It came out in 2003, i think. Had a spanish name.

It was called Vampires: Los Muertos. I kinda liked it; I thought it was better than the first movie (John Carpenter's Vampires).

I'd have to say I was disappointed with Sopor Aeternus' Les Fleurs du Mal, too. Bring back the doom and gloom, Anna!

That effing newest one by Linkin Park. I actually liked their earlier releases. This latest one - the one with the songs on the damned Transformers soundtracks? - that one is just horrible.

Hm... try EVERY SINGLE F***ING IRON MAIDEN ALBUM AFTER SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON! And that's a longshot. Maiden are my first true metal love but... why? Why the horribly nasal singing??! and WHY the removal of the dual lead guitars as a proper aesthetic??? Just riffing... riffing... RIFFING!

hm, come to think of it "The final frontier is their first album in two decades I've liked. And even that was chance. My Fiance bought it for me, and I listened and went... huh... I swear, a tear rolled down my cheek man.

Oops, I'm ranting. Sorry good people of GOTH.NET. But still...

The only Maiden singer I like is Bruce. I don't like the way the others sound.

I don't think it takes away from a band if the singer has a good, high voice Like Dickinson and Halford. \m/

Metallica-St. Anger

This album just plain sucks. They could have done a whole hell of a lot better than this.

Haha it's not his high voice. Bruce rocks. And so do Judas Priest and every other NWOBHM band! (I count judas as NWOBHM.) But I just hate how he sings recently. I liked him on ayreon: The Universal Migrator though, go figure haha..

I would have to agree, Metallica seemed to be distracted from their root with Load to St Anger. Atleast now they came back a little with Death Magnetic.

With regards to The Unforgiving, who are you and what have you done with the real Within Temptation? The entire album makes me think of Eurovision. (I am now dreading Evanescence's next album, the fear of another album that sounds nothing like what went before is upon me.)

For me every album Depeche Mode did after Violator.

I'd have to disagree; I'd set it for every album they did after Ultra. (I happened to like "Barrel of a Gun", thankyew very much!)

I agree. I like some songs on each album after Violator.

Exciter is probably the only DM album I hated, I've always found something to enjoy on all their albums other than that one,
but the Violator and previous is definitely their "glory days"

When I think of Exciter, I think of this. The Metal never dies.

When I think of Exciter, I think of this. Batteries, unfortunately, always die. :( (Warning: Link may be NSFW in your country).

Maybe Depeche Mode got its album title idea from that.
