 I was a fan I have to admit to loving their more 50's than the 50's garage rock sound. Any 'screaming' band where the screams sound like somebody with respiratory problems with a dead hamster lodged in their windpipe. If you're going to scream, either do it full-blooded or don't. It does - I think it's because there's no variation in the guitar sound, and also the same chord rhythm (dah daaah dah dah) or tiny variations on that, and boring song structure. Of course the argument would be 'well, it's their sound!' - well, it's a boring, repetitive sound. I don't like the lyrics much either.
