Hah, yes... a therapist. Perhaps it is not what you think though. I loathe forms of therapy that try to put people in boxes and tell them exactly what they need to do, except in cases where someone has a very, very severe disorder... and even then I'm hoping to never deal with those kinds of cases.
For me, therapy is about sitting down with people who want to make changes in their lives and helping them sort through the things that keep them from being the people that they themselves want to be. |

I'm not entirely sure what direction I want to go with it yet - most likely clinical psychology, although I was also thinking about the forensics road too. The degree I'm doing is going to take 4-6 years because I'm doing it part time, so I've got plenty of time to consider where I want to take it. Feel free to PM me if you have other questions.
