YES! It really does work as good as it looks. The speed and ease of the computer is simple and awesome. I am able to do my college work in half the time because it's so fast and easy to manage.

When you charge it, the alien head lights up in rainbow colors until it's charged. The keyboard (which glows red) have nice keys. I would have liked for the keys to be more pronounced, but they work well. It's not extremely light, but its easy enough to carry around. Very easy to keep clean and the entire lining is very soft.

I am going to have to take it in for repairs though. One of my USB ports was a tight fit and during a commotion with my kids, the port broke off inside my USB cable. Luckily I have a warranty.

Overall, I'd recommend it. It's not cheap ($1,300 USD), but its worth it to me. I have 750 RPM, 12 GB RAM, i5 Processor, built in DVD drive, Windows 7, and I installed Mircosoft Office Pro 2010 (I got that elsewhere for only &100 USD because I'm a college student).

I have no complaints but one- I should have gotten it a long time ago instead of wasting my money on cheap computers.

thanks for the answer, I am still bit undecided about the price and wheight, but now that I know that it's worth it, I might save my money up for that
