Just three words for today: "This heat sucks".

It's 96 degrees here, with 46% humidity....and it's awful. For all the states already in the triple digits- I can only cringe.

Wow. I'd pass out in that heat. Even just being in 18-25 degree weather too long just drains me.

My sun issues are why I've never been to New Orleans and the like. It's not that I wouldn't enjoy the fried food, Mardi Gras, etc - it's that dang heat that would get me down.

It's pretty darn hot here too, around 96 degrees and it's after 7pm. I think the weather is supposed to get a smidge cooler by the end of the week though.

Been working on an assignment that's not due until the 15th. Might as well get it done sooner rather than later. :)

I'm not sure where my CD that has "Cities in Dust" on it is. I'd love to listen to it otherwise.

It'll probably take a bit to get used to, I'm sure. So, are you more diurnal now?

Actually... yes. It is weird for me (considering my vampire blood) but I have to adjust...

First you're complaining about the rain, now about the sun. MAKE UP YOUR MIND WOMAN!

Michigan has been pretty bad heat-wise, but nowhere near as bad as the triple digit states.

Autumn cannot get here fast enough...

I know, I'm such a female. can I blame hot flashes yet? No? Then I'll just blame Florida, it's easier.

And I'm actually, laughing my ass off right now... both because of Arq (you rock!) and something else.

I recently started a blog. I know, I know. I wasn't ever going to, but a few of my friends convinced me. Well, one of those friends has a blog and I comment on it often. Well, because this person defended a friend of his- this person's blog is under constant attacks and bullying from one person who uses many different screen names and posts anonymously (but he has a way of writing that is very telling).

Recently I have gotten on his bad side because I defend my friend. I have to say- this guys posts prove him to be one very intelligent person. He uses words and language in a way that simply makes me smile- even though he's the most vulgar hateful person I've yet to come across via the internet. He truly is that horrid.

He targets gothic blog and once hurt someone so badly she almost left the goth subculture because of it, and had to change her blog and everything because of this one person.

However, since being introduced to him (I assume it's a he) I have found his posts are ridiculous and not worth the attention he's getting. I find it hard to believe that anyone would take him seriously. I see him as a good laugh myself. Yes, he attacks me occasionally and will likely get more vicious and post more often about how vulgar I am, but really- he's not going to get anything more out of me than my laughing my ass off....hell he tried to insult me, and I told him his choice of words was a turn on and to do it again...yeah, I really did go there.

I'm incorrigible. I probably shouldn't because I'd rather my new blog not have all the negativity directed at it, but hell, I'm not going to back down and seeing as how he doesn't intimate me I guess he better get use to my flirting with his arrogant ass (it's horrible I can do that with people I honestly don't like because it amuses me and I find him funnier every times he tries to prove him self to be a living dictionary).

Anyway, whatever happens, my blog can't be faulted and in the end- I know who I am and that's all that matters. Internet bullies are so stupid that all you can do is laugh at them. Poor guy, his childhood/home life must have been or continues to be truly horrible.

^^It's good that you have such a positive attitude about it. And I think he will leave you alone if you keep flirting. Even if you don't, he will get bored and bother someone else.

Midi, you're a wicked, funny girl.

As for your cyber bully... Perhaps he has some mental illness? His behavior certainly doesn't sound rational, to me.

I'm not suggesting he has a mental illness to elicit any sympathy for him. Just suggesting that mental illness could be the reason behind someone feeling a need to be such a persistent dick with relative strangers on the interwebs.

The poor person has no idea what he's gotten himself into. I like to play every once in a while...he'll be entertaining at least and I refuse to stoop to his level. I can be brutal while being fun and polite. Is this a fault or gift...not sure yet!

I learned from the best- my ex in-laws! I can handle my own, and if all else fails- there is a delete button to delete his comments (from my blog anyway which he's yet to do). Overall, I'm sure if I ignore him he'll go away as all trolls do- but ours could be the beginnings a of a beautifully dysfunctional respect of mutual language skills.

Overall, I'm not bothered, I'm amused.

I'm pleased to see that you are enjoying yourself, Midi.
I just finished a commission. I'm getting ready to send it out tomorrow.

I'm currently recovering from a three-day migraine, and checking in with my homies at gnet. I've recently discovered salted caramel ice cream, which is to die for, if not very goth. Also, I'm currently waiting for this hat stand to arrive; I'm going to put it on my bureau, and display one of my hats, switching them periodically.

Post Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
Havent posted much, been having a really rough couple of weeks. My daughter was admitted to the psych ward after a psychotic break (nurse called it that anyway, not me) This involved visual hallucinations and severe paranoia.

When I questioned the blood work showing traces of marijuana and PCP, I was told it wasn't important to know if there were drugs involved. in my opinion a genuine mental illness is far more worthy of my time and attention than another drug trip. This daughter was addicted to crack for a while and still is abusing pain pills,i feel if we are to help as part of her support group then we have a right to know what we are actually dealing with.

What does everyone think? Am i asking too much?
