 Monster High Dolls!
I don't know how many other people on here are doll enthusiasts, but there's a new line of dolls that might just be right up your alley if you like horror movies. They're called Monster High. The site's enough to give one a migrain with the music, but you can pick these dolls up at Toys R Us, so far, for only $20. Not a bad score for the price. Pix!Not sure how much everyone here will like them, but they're the latest thing everyone on the dolly forums are *squeeeeing* about. I hope it's okay to post this in the General section since I'm not sure which category dolls fall under. ^_^ The ones I'm getting will be Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie Stein, of course.

They are incredibly cute! *heart*
And does Draculaura send out a positive message about being gothy?

And does Draculaura send out a positive message about being gothy? I'm not sure about that, but she does seem to support vegan or vegetarianism. They certainly are something worth getting excited about, to me, though! Finally something for people like *me* who dislike all the blond beach-themed dolls they normally come out with this time of year.

I'm not statoined in their HighSchool so I can;t enforce anything. Besides, I can't change their names.
Design wise,I like the zombie girl the best, oddly enough. I wouldn't mind having her on my shelf. Their skirts are way to short for me though. I'd have to make them something respectable.

She hasn't made it to doll form so maybe next run she will? I agree on the short skirts, I definitely pland on redressing these dolls, but the out of package face screening is pretyy damn nice compared to dolls that have been coming out the last few years.

 Re: Monster High Dolls!
I must admit, I was - inevitably - first struck by Draculaura, but then, after a bit of exploration and coming across the Ghoulia doll, I have to say she's my favourite... And given the way she's getting stuck in the corner, wow, do I sympathise! Puck the WaltzQueen wrote: I know, right? I wonder why. Glasses, quiet, nerdy, lacking in confidence... Yet, she's sooo cute! And I hope Mattel give her little fishnet gloves!

 Re: Monster High Dolls!
they even have a little game on their site. I'm a bit embarassed but it's rather addicting.

 Re: Monster High Dolls!
it looks like someone by the name of Jackson Jekyll is going to be added to the cast list. apparently s/he's the Gorgon kid's friend.

 Re: Monster High Dolls!
*hee* Maybe if enough of us 'darksiders' start buying dolls like this there will be more put out that we like? I love the fashions on the Bleeding Edge dolls, but hate the lack of articulation(my dolls need to be able to do action poses holding swords & guns ).
