My pet peeve today, and for the rest of my life most likely:

Strangers: it gets easier every day.

Family: Not easy at all because I have strong ideas about family, and unless you were raised like me, I doubt it would be easy to understand why I would let family walk all over me, but I do more often than not- mostly because family means so much to me, but I seem to mean nothing to them.

Passive aggressiveness. You know, rather than come out and directly express your feelings you hint at it, or you act like a jerk about it until you completely spoil that other person's taste for it.

new pet peeve- beurocracy, just because i didn't tick of a little box on my women's health aplication, i was denied. now i have to go through the whole process all over again! ~GAH~

That's ridiculous when they probably could've had you call a number and have someone electronically check the box for you.

I had a week to call but I was too busy and kept putting it off.
I will accept i should have made time but i didn't know i had so little otherwise i would have.

People who throw their cigarette butts out the car window. It isn't so much about littering (though I hate that, too) as much as it has to do with the fact that we are in serious drought and acres can go up in a matter of minutes! The other evening on the way home, I see this red ember come flying out of a truck window, and I just wanted to force the guy over and remind him that we are under major fire danger! People just don't think past themselves, and the fact they don't want their vehicle to smell like stale ashes! How about not smoking in your car? There was a fire yesterday about 15 miles from my house in which 15 families lost their homes, and it wouldn't surprise me one least if it turns out someone throwing their butt caused it.

When an organization plans an event at a restaurant and doesn't even notify the restaurant! A local high school decided to take over our usual Wednesday night place, and the manager (who sees us every week) thought it necessary to come apologize to us when she found out we were leaving because it was simply too loud and crowded in the place. She said they just started showing up with no warning at all, and even she was upset about the whole thing.

That had to have been really annoying, Gothic Butterfly!

That is unbelievably rude!
