 Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
Anyone else here a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog?
I became a Sonic fan in 1993 and thus have tried collecting everything I can on him, like shirts, action figures, games, plushes, posters, etc. My collection has gotten to the point where I need a collection room to put everything in, which I do have but I lack shelves. My most favourite character is Shadow. <3
Who`s your favourite character? What sorts of Sonic things do you collect?

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
I loved playing all the sonic games on Genesis (especially the Casino one, I think...). I don't have any favorite characters and never collected anything from the games. I was always a bit more into Mario Brothers.

Yes-yes-yes to Sonic. I played every level of every game on the Sega Saturn and played until I went brain dead and lost soeeesg(me motrraetsr finction in muay fingarsssssss.
I rather liked Tail in the 2-player version, and when at last, I had worn poor Sonic to death, switched to DOOM.
That's another episode.

Big Sonic fan here! I love what they did with Generations, and I have the full 16-bit collection on my laptop

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
As a matter of fact, we just got a PS3 and the first game I bought myself was Sonic: Unleashed. Unfortunately I never have time to play it, but I have enjoyed the little bit of the game I have seen so far. ~spidey

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
I loved Sonic! I wasted a ridiculous amount of time on Sonic 1 - 3, Sonic CD + Sonic & Knuckles in my youth, I never really played any of the 3D Sonic games, but more recently I've really been enjoying Sonic 4 Episodes 1 & 2 and Sonic Generations. I never had a Nintendo console until the GameCube, so the whole Mario obsession passed me by, it was always Sonic for me

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
I spent soo many hours playing Sonic 2&3 and Sonic And Knuckles for the genesis. I was so happy when they came out with it for other systems. I think they also have it for Playstation if I am not mistaken, I am going to have to pick that up it they do. I was a very big fan of the televisions series growing up as a child. I loved the Saturday Morning cartoon, The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic X and Sonic Underground. I never collected plushies or bough items in his likeness but I will always be a fan of Sonic, Tails, Dr. Robotnik or Eggman and Knuckles.

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
I remember spending every waking moment outside of school doing nothing but playing the Sonic games. ^^ I love what they did with Sonic Generations in trying to make fans of the various generations happy since there`s such a gap between the two. I enjoy both the modern and classic so this was an especial treat.

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
I grew up on the game. It's a classic. I've got all the older games on my emulator. I loved most of the cartoons too(I just couldn't get into Sonic Underground and I would have liked Sonic X if they hadn't kept shoving Chris down people's throats instead focusing on Sonic who's you know, the main character).

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
I totally agree - it definitely seemed like Chris stole the spotlight and the show surrounded him. Wanted to see the Sonic crew, not some wimpy human boy. =P

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
It wasn't just Chris. I also hated how they messed up a lot of the character's personalities especially Amy and Shadow's who are my favorite characters.
I forgot to mention the Archie comics. I used to love it, but then they got a lot of bad writers who screwed everything up.
I also forgot to mention that I'm still playing the current games too. I don't care what critics say and certain parts of the fanbase say; I love the 3D Sonic games and don't think they "should have stayed 2D".

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
Huge Sonic fan right here. Been playing the games ever since I knew how to work a controller! Haven't been a fan of the latest games, Shadow the Hedgehog and onward, but I thought Sonic Generations was a cool game. As on the subject of the other forms of Sonic merch, also a huge fan of the Saturday morning series. Never much cared for Sonic X, but whenever I need a good laugh I watch Sonic Underground Used to read the comic religiously, but like Gothic_Geek89 said, the bad writing of the recent issues kind of ruined it for me.

 Re: Sonic the Hedgehog fans?
Gotta agree. Archie Comics used to be good. I still buy the comics when I can but the stories have definitely gotten stale and dumb. x.x A shame...

http://i46.tinypic.com/iwlkcy.jpgSo good. Anyways, getting Sonic Adventure 2 HD next month for 360, it's only gonna be 800 MSP/$10 so that's pretty neat.
