 Facebook proxy
Help please!
My cuntfuck of a boss and her minion, the IT creature, have blocked my PERSONAL access to facebook and I can't even do a search for a proxy. Therefore I need help finding a way around her idiotic and totalitarian bitchiness. Link please?

 Re: Facebook proxy
I don't understand. How can they block your personal access to Facebook?
Perhaps you mean that they've blocked your access through their IP and equipment at your place of work?
Maybe you can get around it by bringing your own laptop or Droid or whatever to work, and using that during your breaks and lunch period? (They can't complain if you're using your own stuff on your own time.)
I don't want to get you in trouble by suggesting a proxy to get around the IP block at your place of work, because if your boss has gone to those lengths (IP blocking), it sounds like you really might get into some real trouble if you get caught using your work computer to access Facebook.
EDIT: I just saw in one of your other postings that you're a teacher. So I suppose your school blocked access to Facebook through the school's IP on account of not wanting the kids to access it while at school? Which I can understand, as Facebook accounts have figured in a few school bullying lawsuits. Maybe the school administration will unblock it for the adults?

 Re: Facebook proxy
Thanks Neph.
The thing is that I live at school. I can understand them blocking facebook during work hours: 07:30 till 16:00, but after hours is my own time. Then I want to be able to connect to my friends and family around the world. I am using my own, personal computer and facebook doesn't exactly eat up bandwidth.
At any rate, I managed to get a wonderfully extensive list of proxy servers and will share if anyone wants.

 Re: Facebook proxy
Just download Mozilla Fire Fox and then get the FoxyProxy add-on.
