You beat Magneto, then you get to play the game over again with longer life/mutant power. That's about it.

It'd still be cool if it used about the same amount of RAM as, say, Ubuntu, but it shows that Windows is starting to head in a good direction with their OS.

I wouldn't mind trying Windows 7. Does it run everything that currently runs on XP?

It can run it too, but you need to ''speed down'' the thing. Like playing Dungeon keeper 1 on win 7 is impossible without a patch since the computer make the game fast as hell... I like Ubuntu, it's fast, beautiful, simple and customizable!(And it's free!)

I'll have to test that theory, gonna try loading my old Photoshop on here, maybe tomorrow. I couldn't use it on Vista though :/

Re: what is your favorite os
I'm not really sure if I have a preference. I use both Mac and Windows, and will be installing Debian on my netbook soon. I bought a Mac out of high school because I would continuously crash my PC... and then my mother's while I fixed mine. I am rather taken with Win7... I still haven't found an OS that's attuned to me.

Similar issue here. With any OS, I have to tweak the hell out of it. Windows 7 I can get working how I'd like it. Ubuntu I can attune to my needs with a bit of elbow-grease (though I still can't get MMOs to work right). Macintosh... Meh. It's always been just a stock OS to me. What I'd really love to have (as geeky as this may sound) is a stripped-down, basic OS exactly like the LCARS system seen in The Next Generation. I heard Apple was working on a combination Macintosh/Linux built based off of LCARS (special effects for TNG onward have always been done on Macs), but instead of actually putting out a decent freeware public build, they used what they'd learned to make OS X and tossed the LCARS build.

Coolness. Yeah I had several games that worked great on Windows98 then when I got XP, they ceased to work so it's a big issue with me...

Yeah, I know it doesn't always work, but it's got me through in the past.

Re: what is your favorite os
I tried everything and it still wouldn't work. I think it was a hardware issue. The game needed older equipment to run. But still, I found a lot of other programs stopped working when I went to XP, so...

Re: what is your favorite os
Or simpler, you can run it in emulators! (I don't know those for windows but I had fun screwing arround with commodore 64/Atari ST emulators!)
