Hi and good part of day to everyone!

I have a very itchy problem that I can't solve. The DVD drive is playing the discs as it shoud but there are some "skips" in the sound, like little hops in the sound and the comp works very slowly; When I begin copying from the disc to the comp, the comp is "freezing". It just works very slowly and I can't do anything while it copies. The funny part is that if I copy a song or a movie from the disc to the comp it works completely okay without any "pops" and "skips". My drives are a bit old but not ancient (I hope).

Is there any solution to it?

Accessing data from an optical drive is slower than accessing it from the hard drive, which is why you don't see any problems when it's copied to your hard drive. What're the specs on your computer? Optical drive speed, memory, hard drive speed, operating system, etc?

Nvm, for some reason it works okay now. Sorry for bothering and thanks for the respounce Broken.
