Yes, I'm active a lot. Guess I like it here.

Thanks. 1) Not as such. You will have better luck fiddling with your own browser settings to change font size, and some browsers, evidently, can change the colour scheme. But, as this board is set up to match the main site, there will be no changing it. 2) As soon as the administrator has the time, and no sooner. *Sigh* Then it appears I've to squint, tried tweaking my browser too. BTW, lunarmoth, you seem to be active all the time on this board.
if you are using mozilla or firefox, set the minimum font size to a larger size. then it CANT use a smaller font

Not for the forseeable future.

I tried the "print" function (that usually works for me, I have funny vision due to MS) but it is giving me errors.

Is it possible to change the color of your fonts? I'm accustomed to typing in Purple.

Nope.
Well, technically it's possible to override the board code, but it's frowned upon by the moderators, and we will undo it and ask you to refrain if it's done.

If you are using Firefox, you can go to View, then Page Style, then No Style. You will get a white page with black letters for the most part. much easier to read.

Hi
I have looked at the FAQ but canot find a solution to my problem. I use the Java chat client in IE 6.0 and Firefox 1.4.
It did work but now my java gives an error
" Couldn't retrieve configuration file 'http://www.goth.net/chat/darkerirc.config': java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://www.goth.net/chat/darkerirc.config"
It seems my pc canot read this file to start the java client because it is denied access. 403 is access forbidden.
Can you please help. Thanks !

Are you using the latest version of Java? I personally don't use the java interface, because I dislike Java apps' behaviours. If you'd done a search of this help area, however, you'd have found a few threads regarding the chat.
Perhaps one of these holds the answer?

Uh, yes you can. You just did. You just can't make your own thread until you've contributed intelligently to 10 existing threads.
For the people who can't be bothered to read outside the topmost thread.

This should now be fixed.
This was a server error, thanks for reporting it.

This is a question of protocol. If I would like to share information, including an up-to-date 2 month calendar of a local metal club, where would this info be placed (under Clubs/Events, yes, but where? It's not exactly a review, and I don't know if it deserves to be it's own thread).
Also, with dates and websites, the post would be fairly large, and I was wondering if there is some limitation as to how much space per entry of such things.
I know this forum is not for ads; I don't work for the club. I just would like for people in my area to know about it and what they have so they can go there if they like. Thanks!

glamour I would consider a new thread in the relevant location board. As well as the Clubs/Events thread. Since they are two relevant ones.

Since it does involve a club and/or event, the Clubs/Event forum is the appropriate place.
If there is already a thread on a regional forum regarding your locale, a simple mention of the thread in Clubs/Events will suffice. Two threads would be overkill.
