I am 27, and yet I have been mistaken for 18. I use alot of sunscreen daily, and I know this helps alot of the lovely goth ladies and gentlemen out there to look years younger that their non-goth counterparts. I suppose this makes school reunions fun for elder goths as well.

Oh yes, in addition, I whiten my teeth. This in part because my skin is very pale, and yellow teeth look aweful in comparison to pale skin, but I also find that white teeth give off a youthful appearance that alot of people overlook when preparing to go out for the night.

How do you whiten your teeth? I always wanted to do that.

I do the sunscreen thing also. Usually not in the winter, but since it's spring now, it's sunscreen time nothing is worse than a farmer's tan >_<

I'm 27 too, but my fiancee (as well as many other random people over the years) have told me that I look like I'm about 20 or 21. Most people in my family tend to age very well, my parents are both in their 60's now and both look about 10 years younger, my grandmother is 96 and -thanks in part to her exceedingly good health over the years- looks barely 80, my siblings who are in their 30's look like they're about my age now also. We're all part Dunedain..lol..

I've been mistaken for a 2o year-old since I was 12. It sure has produced some awkward (sometimes kinda scary) moments. Now I'm 17, so I look a little bit more my age, but still the only time I have to show ID is on the bus (asking to pay the child-fee, it goes up to 2o).

Oh no! I never in a million years thought it would happen to me in a million years...but one of my daughter's guy friends thinks I'm hot! I know he likes goth girls and all, but I'm old enough to be his mother! What?

I hope that I never go through that! I am laughing at this, but I know it has to be uncomfortable for you (and even possibly your kids!). I hope he gets over his infatuation soon!

Heh I'm sure he's just really turned on by the fact your a goth mom! I used to be attracted to older women all the time in HS. Used to flirt with one of my teachers actually.Though that has gone away as I got a bit older.

I am 21 but people usually say I look 3 years younger. Been told because I have soft green eyes, but I never saw the correlation heh.

I'm 18 but people always seem to think I'm younger. The other day the receptionist at college asked: "Are you even old enough to try running start?" Ehh, the minimum age requirement is 16. Older guys never talk to me either... only high school kids xD

Really not as I think we should consider age according to thoughts and working of the person. If person living with current trends positively it should be considered young.
