Re: Feeling at home during the night I guess it depends on the area. Both in MD and in VA I`ve been pretty safe wandering at night for the most part. I mostly have to watch out for when people let their dogs loose...

Re: Feeling at home during the night It`s hard to find people to walk with. Boyfriend won`t do it and the nearest friend and I have conflicting work schedules. So I often have no choice but to go out alone. But you are right, having the buddy system is definitely safest.

Re: Feeling at home during the night ^^Really? That sounds awesome. I've always wanted to be nocturnal; it would probably fit me better. But most jobs are during the day. I wouldn't mind working in a bar or something, just to be out and about in the middle of the night without having to get up super-early in the morning.

The few times I've gone nocturnal by staying up one hour later than normal, and waking up an hour early. Do that for about half a week, than add another hour. Re: Feeling at home during the night I go for a walk every night to keep fit, having not got much exercise during the day. Yes I feel quite at home during the night, I always have done, so that makes me the night owl kind I guess
