It's a little unsettling for me walking at night because there are all kinds of people who are up to no good walking around. :(

I guess it depends on the area. Both in MD and in VA I`ve been pretty safe wandering at night for the most part. I mostly have to watch out for when people let their dogs loose...

Necromantic_Lovely: Yes... Beloved Doll is right. It does depend on the area. But I hear ya. Some people can be pretty dangerous. That is why you should never walk out at night alone. I'd be happy to accompany you and protect you! :D Uh... If that was possible... Anyway, I don't really walk around at night too much. I just step out to get a whiff of the night. Once I have had my fill, I''ll just head back inside.

It`s hard to find people to walk with. Boyfriend won`t do it and the nearest friend and I have conflicting work schedules. So I often have no choice but to go out alone. But you are right, having the buddy system is definitely safest.

Well, thank you for the offer. :) I never walk alone anyway.

You're welcome... Heh...heh... Well....That is good. Walking alone is a bad idea in most cases.

Where I live you can see all the stars at night time. It's just beautiful.

I love night time, it's so quiet, and without all that intense sunlight. I'd be nocturnal if I could get away with it!

Oh goodness, I've been almost nocturnal for about six months now and its is wonderful. Sadly my training schedual has gotten in the way and I must revert back to living during the day light bleh. But I recommend being nocturnal, its lovely.

^^Really? That sounds awesome. I've always wanted to be nocturnal; it would probably fit me better. But most jobs are during the day. I wouldn't mind working in a bar or something, just to be out and about in the middle of the night without having to get up super-early in the morning.

Yeah... Being nocturnal can be fun but it sucks when you keep switching between nocturnal and diurnal. That is just a recipe for feeling bleh...

The few times I've gone nocturnal by staying up one hour later than normal, and waking up an hour early. Do that for about half a week, than add another hour. In a month and a half you're done!!

I woke up at 4:00 pm today and will most likely stay up all night again. I'm on my way to being nocturnal!

I go for a walk every night to keep fit, having not got much exercise during the day. Yes I feel quite at home during the night, I always have done, so that makes me the night owl kind I guess :)
