What's your favorites? I don't know if there already is an similar topic like this one. Was bored so I wanted to read about what you've watched lately or in the past. Please tell us.

Tales from the Crypt ! the show is not only goth, interesting and funny but also pure wisdom. And the Crypt Keeper's jokes are killing me.

Re: Gothic TV shows and movies.
My favorite is actually pretty old. It is called Dark Shadows. It is suppose to be a "Gothic Soap Opera" involivng many mythical and otherworldly things. I remember watching it with my grandmother when i was really young, before it went off the air. I heard that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are gong to work together to turn it into a movie. I cannot wait to see it. I need to save up so i can buy the series.

I remember "Round the Twist" with all kinds of magical/spooky storylines and have a fondness for it, but "Children of the Stones" is the real scary deal for those of us who remember it. Do watch the intro at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLpcr7KTi9I and keep in mind this was for a prime time childrens program. -LS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Round_the_Twisthttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_of_the_Stones

I always liked the Addams Family and Beatlejuice. As for movies I'm very fond of Sleepy Hollow, with Depp being a gothy forensic pathologist. The horseman rocked as a villan

Sort of "perkygoth", but I really loved the show Pushing Daisies. I was very sad when it ended.
In a similar, yet more dramatic vein, I also adored Six Feet Under. That one is well worth the price for the rental.

I know nothing of what makes a show goth but I enjoy the Venture Brothers, and one of the creators was in a Darkwave band.
As for movies I like Beetlejuice and Henry Selicks stop motion films.(Nightmare before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach and Coraline)

I haven't seen it yet...I read they hired someone else to play Daisy and expected nobody to notice...I think that's a cheap shot, but I'd still like to give the movie a chance...
