Your pet reveals your spooky side?
edit: topic split from "Ask a fellow Gnet member a question!"
Here's a goofy question for whoever wants to take it:
Let's say that people who prefer dogs as pets are more likely to be werewolves (because of the canine connection).
And let's say that people who prefer cats as pets are more likely to be vampires (because cats like to bite you, even when you're stroking them. Also, cats have retractable claws the way vampires have retractable fangs.)
So, what supernatural being are reptile-owners most likely to be?
Same question for people who have rodents as pets.

Your pet reveals your spooky side
What about the people that own different pets? For example a friend of mine has a bunny and a cat. I can only imagine the philosophical debates they might go through if they were a vampire. XD Also, yay for Bunnicula!
Edited because apparently I have terrible grammar. XD

I think you have to choose which is the primary pet -- probably the pet they had first? Any ideas for people who have only pet fish? I'm thinking they must swing more towards Creature from the Black Lagoon. -- Nephele

-- Nephele Yes, or they're Deep Ones. Ahh, Bunnicula. I loved that book.

Reptile owners = Godzilla-esque monsters... or Creature from the Black Lagoon?
Rat owners = Morphing into something like an R O U S (Rodents Of Unusual Size from the Princess Bride)... kind of a wererat.

Re: Your pet reveals your spooky side?
Reptile owners I would think would either be Lizardmen/Lizardwomen (Human-like being with many reptilian features) or they would be Nagas for the snake owners among us.
People who do both, like me, would still end up Naga but with more reptilian features on the upper body.
As for rodents, wererats hands-down.

Tarantulas would be driders or some other denizen of the demonweb pits.
Scorpions are a symbol of the obyrith demon lord Obox-Ob, so scorpions represent demons or some other form of elder evil.
Fish are obviously Cthulhu spawn

Those with birds are Harpies or Furies, perhaps even Wendigos.

I'd say rodent owners are more likely to be nezumi.

Yes but no. "Skaven" will turn up roughly the same thing on google.

The nagas are a neat idea.
