I've heard that! Supposedly human tastes like pork and non-vegetarians or people with a western diet are really salty.
That doesn't make me feel less like a little human macnugget, though.

Usually carnivores like to take a bite first, then realise their efforts are in vain, as we are horrible

Or, encountering something similar to this : Coffins used to be built with holes in them, attached to six feet of copper tubing and a bell. The tubing would allow air for victims buried under the mistaken impression they were dead. In a certain small town Harold, the local gravedigger, upon hearing a bell one night, went to go see if it was children pretending to be spirits. Sometimes it was also the wind. This time, it wasn't either. A voice from below begged and pleaded to be unburied.
"Are you Sarah O'Bannon?" Harold asked.
"Yes!" The muffled voice asserted.
"You were born on September 17, 1827?"
"Yes!"
"The gravestone here says you died on February 20, 1857."
"No, I'm alive, it was a mistake! Dig me up, set me free!"
"Sorry about this, ma'am," Harold said, stepping on the bell to silence it and plugging up the copper tube with dirt. "But this is August. Whatever you are down there, you sure as hell ain't alive no more, and you ain't comin' up. Hoooooly crap. Reading this post while listening to "Magic" by Yma Sumac and sitting next to a window with no curtain, at night, has actually brought tears to my eyes. My nails and teeth are a joke and I'm probably really delicious. Long story short, my ideal scare is freefloating anxiety about being attacked, apparently. Who told you that, so I can stay the heck away from them? It's difficult trying to type while trying to keep hold of my cat, who is apparently going to protect me from the spookies.

Re: BOO! Let's Talk About Our Ideal Scares...
Someone being possessed not by a demon or malevolent spirit but just by someone who has died; seeing the person I know talking as this dead person who is possessing them. Or, like in the scariest movie ever "Audrey Rose" where the person is remembering their past life but thinks they actually ARE that past person. So, in short, creepy possession-type situations rather than gruesome or violent ones. Ugh.

Re: BOO! Let's Talk About Our Ideal Scares...
My ideal scare has to be heights, Agrophobia (Public fears and social, not my worst, but something I do get nervous of) and fear of real ghosts lurking in the darkness. I'm not scared of the dark, but whatever is lurking beneath the shadows and my mind starts to play tricks on me and builds up fear in me of actually entering a building or area that looks 'scary' or even 'risky'. I'm also prone to jump when I hear a bang or some noise in the dark while sleeping.

Re: BOO! Let's Talk About Our Ideal Scares...
Well I haven't posted anything in a while. Haha. This scare might sound a little familiar but waking up in a town where no one knows you, with no money, friends, or family. On top of that, no one wants to talk to you. Loneliness is more terrifying than anything. I'd rather die knowing I made hundreds of mistakes but lived fulfilling at least some of my wishes than dying a bleak death. Why did I just end the idea with dying? *slaps self* Anyway...scary.......

My ideal would be finding out the house where I live has been scene for something morbid and it's now infested with ghosts. I'm quite obsessed with ghosts in this period because my aunt really scared me with some stories of local ghosts..

Re: BOO! Let's Talk About Our Ideal Scares...
I'm not afraid of monsters, spooks or any other odd phenomenon. I'm afraid of humans, scariest damn creature on the planet in my opinion. Being that it's the only one that will happily kill, maim, or cause other types of harm to it's own kind for no real reasons.
Hmmmm......a pleasurable fear for me would be.....riding a fast roller coaster.
(Truth be told I don't enjoy being afraid most of the time, I hate scary movies. I also have never go into haunted houses, because my fight or flight reflex seems to have no "flight" function.)

My ideal scare would likely be a really intense Ouija session where you really can tell that the spirit is indeed interacting with you and perhaps tells you more than you wanted to know. Cue evil laughter - Mwah ha ha ha!

Yup, you read that right. Next to my bed AGAIN....

Re: BOO! Let's Talk About Our Ideal Scares...
A scare that would really make me paranoid is a harsh scream in the middle of the night, or anything that goes from being complete silence to a loud, incomprehensible noise.
