Glad you all enjoyed 4! I didn't realise the music box tune was written in 1897!

Chapter 4 is nominated for Best Indie Soap of the week.
Please vote for it and tell all your friends to vote as well.

I just voted for Blood & Bone China!

Yep, the tune was only just written in 1897 (in Germany), but it didn't really become well known until years later. The composer, Leon Jessel, had a sad end years later. He was tortured to death by the Nazis.

It takes about 35 mins to catch up on all the episodes so far.

I watched 1-6 back to back for the first time last night. Really pleased how it's all coming together.

Chris, will you be releasing the entire series on DVD sometime? I can play Region 2 DVDs on my player (I'm in the US - Region 1), and I'd be willing to pay for a DVD. Especially if the DVD includes some behind-the-scenes "extras."

That's a wonderful question, Nephele! I, too, would be happy to get this on DVDS if edited into a single, feature-length format!

Hi guys,

Chapter 5 is out now. Check out when you get chance.
You'll hate me again because it's another cliffhanger! Lol
If there is a big enough demand then it will get released on DVD.
I'm also cutting it together for the Bram Stoker film festival,
I'm not sure how that's going work as they are all designed to work as small parts....hmmm might have to fade to black and fade in again when a new part starts a bit like American TV shows when you eat h them on DVD. I'm sure I'll figure it out! Glad everyone is enjoying the series so far!

Just... Wow! That was frantic! Congratulations Chris - that was incredibly taut, and in many ways the best chapter so far!

On editing into a feature-length format... Yes, I've been wondering, myself, whether that could be done based on the 5 chapters so far, and I agree - given the episodic format, where each episode should ideally end on some kind of cliffhanger, it's not easy because when pieced together the rises and falls will seem very choppy. However, perhaps not impossible?

Nah, it will be like watching Dark Shadows again. That was part of the charm! I think that's why I adore B&BC so much...it's reminiscent of those old serials, complete with cliffhangers.

That's why I gave the thread a bump! I've got this "Blood and Bone China" alarm clock in my head.

The fact that I'm making such a note of it is truly sad.
