Ok, some bands use a symbol or a theme in a lot of their promotional t shirts, album sleeves etc. Has anyone any particular favourite sleeve art or band logos?

One of the ones I really love is the demon image that occurs in Motorhead art, mainly because it has been worked into some really good pictures:

I don't have a pic of it to post. But I do like the NIN logo. AngelSpit's is cool too (again no pic, sorry).

I like the symbol used by HIM... even if you dont like the band really it would still be a neat tattoo

I think it's a great, yet simple design and really symbolised the heart on the sleeve approach to songs they used to employ, I like it so much I have it on my arm permanently

Oh, i wanted to tattoo it as well, but I'm always wandering if i really should have or want a tattoo anyway... But it's a really nice tattoo to have in any case

yeah thats true, i probably wouldnt get a band logo tattooed, would stick to things that are more symbolic or meaningful to me. think it'd look nice on a wall though

Yeah I agree with you on that one.
I figured out that probably if you are debating on if to have a tattoo or not but you really want one or you are afraid to get sick of it, do it on a place which you will not see so frecuently. Like, on a shoulder blade, the back side of your neck or back, the lower part of the leg etc. I think it will work..^^

yeah, ive decided on 2 tattoos, both are on back and one is V small too, so they won't be seen much if i do change my mind about them

I don't think I will tattoo myself some day, I'm always debating and sometimes don't even see the point in tattoos [while often I find them very nice and pretty]. I don't think i am a tattoo person, if there's something like that.
Which tattoos are you gonna do? Do they have a speacial meaning?

im not too sure either, id hate to regret it... my friends and i are all getting a little butterfly on our shoulderblade, and my brother passed away when i was younger so im gonna get his name on the bottom of my back.

Oh, I think that's a good reason to get one. I think you should go for it, if it means a lot to you.
