 Re: The Wolf Gift
Yeah...sort of, I was addicted to her books for a long time, even though the quality of the writing, in my opinion, steadily worsened, the final Vampires/Mayfair Witches book and Blackwood Park being particular low points to me. Having said that, I am interested, and I'm wondering how she will handle a horror/supernatural story after spending so long away from them.

 Re: The Wolf Gift
I agree...I'm also interested to see how she fares tackling the werewolf mythology!

 Re: The Wolf Gift
Anne Rice writing horror again, hmm could be interesting. When she was on her game, she was a creator of amazing characters and images. And though she did tend to run her own ideas into the ground, it serves us to remember how good those ideas were when they began.
Now if we could just get Poppy Z Brite to come back to us...

 Re: The Wolf Gift
I quite like Poppy Z Brites noir books actually. Anyway, I started reading the Wolf Gift earlier this week, and have to say, I've been enjoying it quite a bit! Has anyone else read it at this point, or is currently reading it?

 Re: The Wolf Gift
I'm not really a fan of her work. I get tired of the limp, emotionally immature, whiners that she writes. It gets a little old. She's talented but needs to offer me more depth.
