Post The Greek & Roman Myths
For everyone who can't get enough Greek and Roman mythology, I'm announcing a new book that's just been published by a dear friend of mine, Philip Matyszak.

Maty's new book is titled The Greek and Roman Myths: A Guide to the Classical Stories, and I highly recommend it.

My favorite book by Maty is Ancient Rome on 5 Denarii a Day, which is a traveler's guidebook to ancient Rome (assuming that you're already living in ancient Rome).

Treat yourself to both of these outstanding books – they really immerse you in the classical world.

Post Re: The Greek & Roman Myths
My mouth is watering right now. Me wants...

Yet I am again disappointed, thinking this was yet another thread about Mythology of ALL kinds (Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, etc...) and the stories meanings in both past and present days as well of favorite myths and a good long conversation about the gods...gah... I swear I'm going to make that thread one day if I can only figure out how to go about starting it.

As it is, back on topic, I seriously want to read this book now. Thanks so much for letting us know about it.

Definitely check it out, Midi, I know you'll enjoy Maty's book! I'd be promoting this book even if Maty hadn't given me a lovely acknowledgment on the dedications page. :)
