It's a night with some of the legendary women of the old Los Angeles deathrock scene and their current bands! Rock out to the tunes that made the scene, by the women who made them. Watch in awe as the stage is graced by the likes of Alice Bags and Tina Winters. The bandlist is:

Mz Eva O and Her Guns
Dinah Cancer and the 45 Grave Robbers
Voodoo Church
Castration Squad

It's an all ages show on September 2 at the Key Club in West Hollywood with a $15.00 cover.

The Key Club
9039 Sunset Blvd.
West Hollywood, CA 90069
(310) 274-5800

It's times like these that make me wish I lived in the Los Angeles area rather than Seattle. :[

Sadly, tours like this never come to Miami, but we did have the privelege of seeing Bella Morte and The Vanishing last year. I'd absolutely love seeing 45 Grave live. Please post a review if you go.

I can only hope they show up for the Drop Dead Festival. By the way, I don't see Canada on that list :(

Updated some of the tour info.

Well, this is too bad. It looks like the Misfits/45 Grave tour is going to be US-exclusive after all. For the Canadians living near the border in BC, I'm sure you're more than welcome at the Fenix Underground, though.

It also looks like the Misfits will be doing a UK tour from September 5 through September 16, but with no opening act, as far as I can tell.

I still need to find a relatively cheap way to get to LA for September 2 though, otherwise I don't think I'll be able to make it there to see the Divas of Deathrock show. If anybody wants to donate a plane ticket or Greyhound pass, it would be more than welcome!

I also wonder if they have some problems with a lack of promotion. The first time I heard about the Divas show was when I happened to look at Voodoo Church's and Eva O's MySpace pages, which is a bit... odd.

Here's to hoping somebody follows up with a bounty of pictures and a big juicy review.
