What a stunning home! They've done a beautiful job with the renovation, and there's so much character there. The rooms are enormous though, especially the dining area, so I'd worry it would have a cold feel to it, especially in winter. Not too sure about the tombstones either! I personally wouldn't ...

ArcAngel; perhaps don't post then? Sometimes people don't reply because they don't have anything useful to add. Or, like you said, some of the new people (to me, as I haven't been on here for a while) are regulars to everyone else. As a result, I don't expect people to always reply to everything I s...

Depending on how bright we're talking, I try not to put a block bright (such as a plain bright top) with black (especially black shoes!) unless the colour is balanced with accessories, as I think it can look cheap. Indigo denim looks good with bright tops, or I use a bright colour to brighten a neut...

Unfortunately the privacy issue pops up in every situation where you have to live with parents. Loki's parents have been very accommodating in that respect, but there's still a limit on how much privacy you actually have (Earth-moving sex is generally off-limits unless everyone is out of the house) ...

I thought I might as well post a small intro, as I've noticed a lot of new faces lately, and the last time I spent time on this forum was well over a year ago, so I must look like a newbie as well. Some of the old folk might remember me as Hell's Angel, but the lovely Spidey changed my username to s...

Sims3. I'm never going to get the hang of it. My sister is addicted to that game. She's just got the new Sims 3 Medieval expansion pack for it. Somehow I don't think she ever 'got the hang of it' either... cheat codes seem to work well for her. Currently playing either Wii Sports Resort (a lot more...

I've ordered from Heavy Red before and had a hideous time trying t...

There are some downsides...looks like chances are I'll have to live with Harry's parents for a while after we're married (but he still wants to move to Oregon), which isn't ideal, but neither is slogging at a hateful job for crap pay and only seeing him every 12 months for 7 more years Congrats Bla...

I'm enjoying a bottle of (very nice) red wine, and watching the usual crap Friday night TV. Casino Royale has just started, so I might tune into that for a bit.

This is really interesting thread for me as I study psychology and one of my current modules is focusing on child development, particularly early development, and it challenges ideas around raising children, different theories on teaching, behaviour and learning. I don't have any children (yet ;)), ...

We do have HD; unfortunately we don't have all the movie and sports channels to enjoy it as much as we'd like because it's so damn expensive. Having said that, we did have all the movies and sports channels over Christmas (special deal, half price!), and the quality was fantastic.
