Personally, I have difficulties with phrases like "animals are meant to serve us". So do I, because such statements are based on religious/biblical concepts. Who, if not god, can authoritatively say that animals are meant to serve us? I don't think that animals are "meant" for a...

Hey, I'm not defending HSUS in any real way; they're clearly more interested in legislation than hands-on work, but the fact of the matter is, they're a completely separate group from PeTA. The HSUS is at least twenty-five years older, and PeTA founders have never had any documented prior involvemen...

Can I post my new kitten? https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/o ... directlink This is the 5-7month old kitten some-one dumped in my neighbourhood, and who wandered onto my porch a day or two before Halloween (I swear, I'm telling the truth!). My other cat, Chunk, isn't too fond of him, but she's ...

If your primary sources for that allegation are Center for Consumer Freedom and its sister site ActivistCash.com They're not. Actually hadn't even heard of that 2nd one before now. If your primary source is Penn & Teller, their primary source is CCF. The anonymous nature of the Animal Liberatio...

I think people are more important than animals, and animals are meant to serve us (for food, work, companionship), and people should not be pressured not to eat meat. I really don't see the practicality of world wide veganism. And I find PETA very abusive. isn´t that a thought. Why would peop...

No, it just invited itself. Maybe they got caught and had to change it in the next release. Also, I think the flash plugin may have been incompatible with your version of Firefox or another plugin. When I upgrade to Firefox 14(?) It knocked out my McAfee SiteAdvisor for a bit...and before that I go...

Somehow, Google Chrome changed its theme on me, from the purple peacock feathers, to the black-and-grey lace. I swear, I did not initiate this change. My browser is Goth. Might be ruining it by getting all technical, but that's Chrome detecting your interests from your browsing I think. I don't lik...

Well, in my experience, light colors may leave you more prone to sunburn, but I have never been burned through my clothes, and black most definitely makes you hotter than lighter colors when working outside, precisely because it absorbs heat, and transfers it through your sweat to your skin, which ...
