I found some more pictures of them here. http://www.iheartjapan.ca/2011/10/bizarre-japan-bagleheads/ I think it's a pretty clear fashion "don't"... makes me think of an injury, like when you bump your head and get a "goose egg" or some kind of infection. That said, I'm also open-...

This is a great topic. When I was a teenager, i decided that the cutoff age for having to stop coloring or styling one's hair in extreme ways, or to dress conservatively or more "grown up" was... 24! And then, when i hit 24, I thought, "OK, maybe 30 is the right time." Well I'm i...

A couple of weeks ago, I got a modified A-line... it basically looks like one, except the underside is all shaved so that I can put it up in a mohawk when I like. Usually I take the lazy way out and clip it up with a banana comb, then put my product into it. I use LUSH "Dirty" hair styling...

I agree with the people who have said that any color can be goth. Wear whatever you like! When I was in my 20s, almost all of my clothes were black; I had one purple dress, one red velvet top, and a greyish-purple denim skirt, but everything else was black. Now I wish I had put a bit more colo...

Steph, your stuff is fab! I especially liked the crocheted fishnet-style gloves. Also your plus-sized cardigan & that granny square coat are amazing! Also loved your mini matchbook-style notebooks too. Your gothic stuff is really cute too, with the perfect colors :) I would love to see more goth...

This is such a fun topic idea :) Similar to Utopia's experience, mine started with a themed party. I was in high school at the time. We were supposed to dress up like hippies, and my mom had found a floral skirt for me: it was beige with these BIG orange and teal flowers. I can't remember what else ...

I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned Infusium yet... after all, it's the "leave-in you'll believe in!" Terrible grammar, but awesome product. ;) I have very fine straight "baby hair" which fortunately doesn't require a lot of special things in the keeping-stuff-clean depa...

OK.... I admit it... I love watching terrible movies on Lifefime! I pretend it's because I like to heckle them, a la MST3K (and often that's true), but I actually really enjoy watching them, too. It's nice to turn one's brain off and enjoy some junk food for the soul every once in awhile. Every coup...

Oooh, good thread!! I do a cooking-and-lifestyle blog, which I haven't posted in for a few months (since September). Usually I post once every few months, whenever I remember to take pictures of whatever I'm doing. I am creative, but sort of skill-challenged with crafts. My ideas tend to outweigh my...

I'm wearing a dark purple tank top, baggy black jeans, & a pair of magenta socks with Hello Kitty and skulls on them (I collect cute socks, got these ones for Chanukah!). My hair's up in a bun with a red elastic. No makeup tonight. That's it! :)

Hi everyone! I've just been reading over some of your resolutions. Wow, I am impressed at the ambition and positivity on this thread! I wish all of you lots of success! I don't really make resolutions at this time of year, but it has coincided with a few major life changes so I've decided to use thi...

I realize that you already probably know this part, but.... Hi, I'm new here. :) Actually, I've lurked here for ages, and today I finally decided to post a profile... figured it'd be more fun to actually contribute something. ;) I'm 34 and I live in the New England area. (Hopefully I'm not the only ...
