Last month I went to Paganfest, and I think it was the best metal gig I've been to. Turisas, Alestorm, Arkona, Huntress, and Helsott played. Turisas, Alestorm, and Arkona are folk metal bands from Finland, Scotland, and Russia (respectively). Huntress and Helsott are Californian metal bands. A frien...

My top 10: Dark Tranquillity, Insomnium, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, Eluveitie, Ensiferum, Katatonia, The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure.

I've become quite the metalhead.

I can remember watching horror movies with my mum when I was 8 or 9... She would always tell me to go off and do something else because they were scary. I found them fascinating and always tried to watch them anyway. I honestly thought I was a witch when I was a kid. I think it started when I read t...

Lord of the Rings are my favourite movies. I'm a bit of a LOTR nerd...

Some of my other favourites include Interview with the Vampire, The Crow, and The Meaning of Life.

I liked the film, but I agree with some of the people here in that something was missing. Alice in Wonderland was my favourite book when I was little, and I liked the references to the original story (considering that the movie takes place some years later). I also really liked the costumes and sets...

I'm wearing a cut up black t-shirt over a red tank top over a fishnet shirt, black pants, and eyeliner. Normally, I don't wear fishnet, but today I felt like it.

Theatre of Tragedy is good too, though I have a few songs by them. And I love Epica.

I was raised Catholic, and my mum (also Catholic) is very much into gothic and horror novels (but not the music). I am currently questioning my beliefs though, so I'm not sure if I count. :?

I hate the word poser. If people are true to themselves, I don't give a crap about what music they listen to or how they dress. As long as they don't say they're into something when they know nothing about it. I respect honesty in people. (What's the point of saying that you listen to gothic rock wh...

I want to dislike goth-influenced music. I say influenced because it's considered "gothic", but wasn't part of the original movement. I like Emilie Autumn, Nightwish, Sirenia, Epica, and other bands like that, and I'm going to listen to what I like. I also have a love/hate relationship wit...

I've kind of always liked the darker side of things, having been exposed to it by my parents. My mum's into horror novels and films. My dad loves The Cure. I remember watching horror movies with my mum and listening to The Cure with my dad when I was little. I became interested in gothic rock in hig...

My favourite colours are pink and purple. Always have been, always will be. I'm really lazy and don't bother with make-up most days. And I look fairly "normal" (usually). I love hard rock bands like AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Skid Row, Motley Crue, and The Cult (well... their early st...

There's a song by Scary Bitches called Lesbian Vampyres from Outter Space. It's quite amusing.

Claire's Horrors and This Paradise by London After Midnight could be interpreted as being about vampires.
